Meta-Painting, 2019-2023 Series of diamond shaped painting done by nanopolymer material that is normally used to search cancer cell in human body. It is not a pigment based color spectrum but a strucured color specifically combined by its chemical forms. This is a result of the collaboration with Cornell Nano Lab run by Uli Wiesner. This color doesn't fade overtime, and is the same color structure we see in the butterfly wing. Ever since I have been inspired by nano polymer and it's magic, and our major collaboration made a first architectural scale of [A Needle Woman- Galaxy was a Memory, Earth is a Souvenir] 14 m high outdoor sculpture using the polymer together with Uli Wiesner'S nano lab and his post doctorate students at Cornell Univ., and with an architect Jaeho Chong. This pieces has been commissioned under direction of Staphanie Owen's for the CCA biennale of Cornell Uiv. We continue to experiment different possibilities of the aestethics of Nano polymer for the Metz Cathédrale stained glass pieces and these are from that experiments. Due to the viewing distance and the nature of old cathédrale that has historical and conventional stained glass panels, this has not been used at the end but I decided to show them as Meta-Painting.
