Happy Halloween! We started celebrating early yesterday with a beautiful Sunday hike to help pack out an elk. We brought in a whole squad of happy hounds, who, as always, can't get enough of all the meat and bones hanging around the sagebrush. Hunting is a privilege and responsibility that we take very seriously. Every scrap of meat, including all of the organs, is harvested and carried out. Anything that isn't turned into human food gets added our personal wild game dog food grinds and rotated into the more regular diets. You're not going to find more sustainable and ethically-sourced proteins than elk or deer.
