Why are you using soy wax? I use soy wax as it is a sustainable resource, it can be regrown very easily. I avoid using paraffin wax as it is a finite resource, and as such, will run out one day and therefore not at all sustainable. There’s an added benefit with soy as soy wax is known to burn for longer than paraffin wax so offers much better value. The two pictures here show the Green Laurels standard candle that will burn for up to 40 hours, and wax in flake form before I melt it down to make the handmade candles. The wax is scented and coloured before being poured into tins. The tins are also reusable and make handy storage pots and come with a solid metal lid. If you haven’t tried an N&G candle yet as you prefer the big brands, have a read of this… 😍 “I’ve got such a collection of candles including the likes of Neom and after finally tracking you down at Nonsuch Market & treating myself to a 3 Wick After Dark candle, I have found it to be by far one of the most sumptuous & sophisticated scents I have had. The candle fills the room (and house) without being overpowering, unlike other brands that are either too strong or you can’t smell at all.
