We sold our dream home 1 year ago today!! It was one of the hardest, yet exciting days ever. It was a house I never dreamed I’d be blessed with and our dream to travel fulltime was one I never knew I wanted so bad. After we closed we drove 15 hours to our hometown in Indiana to stay with Ryan’s parents until we found our next dream home, a 42 foot Class A motorhome! This lifestyle is more than I ever dreamed of. The community, the exploring, the hiking, the family time, the slowness of life - it’s all way more than we ever dreamed. One thing I regret - not taking a photo or video of us unboxing these. They were so nicely put together and wrapped up, it was like unwrapping a Christmas Gift! We had them both installed in under 30 Minutes, it is better than the last doorlock we had on our old rig. Less expensive, better made AND easy to mute the beeping - that was something I disliked about the old one, I hated locking and unlocking because the sound would disturb the neighbors. Because sometimes you don't get the luxury of working in your own driveway... The past two nights Gunner and I have spent a few hours at the mechanics shop to try and get this electrical system hooked up before our pictured rocks trip in two weeks. I worked on the "heart" of the system the first day and got stuck due to some weird wire gauge sizes and terminal hole sizes. So while Amazon brings me my goodies...I worked on running outlets around the van. As the sun went down, I started making more rookie mistakes so I opted to take my butt home. Our first travel “story”…. Minus the RV 😂 We traveled to SE Michigan this past holiday weekend for a family reunion on Tom’s side at his cousin’s farm in Manchester. These are the attendees at the #WaligoraBrookbankMinard family reunion. We also brought my mom #backhome to #michigan to live with my brother. She’s lived in TN with us for the last six years and was starting to get homesick for the rest of the family. Her move back hone was the life event that has allowed us to move forward with plans to RV full time. Making friends and memories that will last forever is what RV life is all about for us. It isn't about likes, followers, or growing a business. It isn't about finding our "tribe" aka "clique" and not opening up to other friendships either. For us it's more than the places we get to see, it's the people we get to see too. This was one of those days that if we hadn't had these priorities already placed, we would have missed! We coordinated with some friends to meet up. Those friends invited their friends so we got to meet them.Then we pulled in new friends we met at the campground. ❤❤❤ Not everone is up for that. But we sure love the people who are! Today is the last day the girls and I will walk to school from our house. Because... we move to the trailer this weekend!! 😱 Ella, Audrey & I have walked to and from school every single day since September. Question for the ladies. How many of you know how to hook up and unhook your trailer, back your trailer, empty your tanks and anything else that needs done on your rig? If you don’t, I highly suggest having your spouse teach you for those just in case moments. For me, it was important to learn if my hubs had to travel for work leaving the rig in the kids and my care.

We love making new friends and going to cool places with them. In three years we have seen many ways to share friendships on the road... Going to events like Full Time Families Rallies and Meetups to meet new people. Traveling with friends. Meeting up with friends. Enjoying whoever we get to meet at the campground we are at. We meet our neighbors and people at the park or pool. Sometimes we have met on Instagram of all places and just happen to be at the same place. We keep in touch with the friends we meet in many different ways. When we get the chance to see each other again, we just start where we left off...as if no time passed. That's my favorite. We are all in this #rvlife together and we get each other. 👊 Here's to all the friends we have and haven't made yet - see you down the road! @toxinfree_travelers

So a few weeks back we were back near family and @mrsnelson8783 treated her mama to a glorious day with just her and me doing our favorite things!
