Exciting things have been unfolding behind the scenes, and we are thrilled to announce that we are now Supply Nation Registered. Why is this significant? Honestly, in terms of our preservation and bespoke service, it hasn't been a priority in previous years. However, a recent encounter at the @australianladiesinbusinessintiative changed everything. I had the honour of meeting Rashida Khan, the First Nation's Award winner, whose acceptance speech moved me to tears. Our conversation afterwards was transformative. Rashida challenged me to reconsider the importance of identifying our business as Indigenous-owned. It's not just about what we do or how we do it; it's about paying respect to our elders who couldn't speak out of fear, honouring my Indigenous mother, who started life in outback NSW but became a world-renowned florist and built a business that has lasted three decades. Ultimately, it's about inspiring the next generation of young Indigenous women to see that they can be and do anything. This registration is a tribute to them and the enduring legacy of Indigenous entrepreneurship.
