Mental Health impacts individuals of all demographics meaning that millions of individuals each day experience symptoms of mental health disorders around the world. Yet, only half of individuals that experience mental health symptoms receive treatment. It is important that we take the time to prioritize our own mental health. Those amongst minority communities, including the LGBTQIA+ community, are at higher risk of experiencing increased rates of health disparities that are contributed by minority stress factors.
