Fast forward a few months, I was asked if I could make her beautiful again, and to find someone to love & appreciate her. Little corner of happiness that I spend my life fluffing and reconstructing as it’s a launching pad for flash to bark out the window at any unsuspecting neighbour that passes by. The patchwork quilt was a bargain I picked up in st Ives,so remind me of our trip there.I always imagine that the maker of the quilt would have similar memories stitched into the multitude of fabric scraps that went into its construction,did she make it with others?What stories were shared over the thousands of quilts that have been made?. I think I’m craving that creative collaboration when making with others. The embroidery cushion slightly moth eaten now (ughhh) once was a jumper I picked up from a charity shop that had a crafting group that recycled and made new from old to sell on, so I added to that tradition too. Anyway sun is shining again in Devon so time to get creative in the garden ☀️🌞🌷🌱

So happy with this commissioned chest of drawers. I was asked to match the two side tables in colour and stress effect. After painting the chest of drawers my client decided to match up the bedside tables and stool. Thank you to the lovely Chantelle @no.21bespokeinteriors for always being there ! I used a mix of three colours to create this beautiful finished result.
