I do have Imposter Syndrome… . Watching @Paramore at the O2 Arena last night it dawned on me that more than twice the amount of people in this room have listened to Downtown Patriots’ Poppy Weeps In The Dark. I was quietly humbled and slightly overwhelmed by this. . I know to some artists, 45,000 total streams of a song is not much, and I’m sure the likes of the “big hitters” out there, this would be deemed a colossal failure. But given, that this little song of mine has had very little publicity and no radio/air time, I’mchuffed at these figures and grateful to all those who have listened to it. . A raccontare gli altri e tutti gli altri. La libertà, la voglia di competere. Il limite da superare, ma non varcare. Ma cosa effettivamente racconti questo nome, così dissonante e apparentemente distante dal mondo delle corse, resta un possibile mistero glorioso celato da un velo delle gare Endurance. Il coraggio di un atleta ferito come Nick Laventis, che da sciatore con la schiena spezzata dal dolore ha deciso di fare altro nella vita, fondando una squadra corse con cui vincere a Le Mans nel 2010. Back in 2017, Houston emcee Danny Watts linked up with his mentor @jwayniac for his debut album ‘Black Boy Meets World.’ One of the more underrated projects of the year, the the album serves as the source for meditations of social and political focus - deeply personal.
