Yesterday I stopped by Edwards Freeman Nut Company @edwardsfreemannutco in Conshohocken, PA to pick up some sweet treats. Haven't been there for years. It's still a great place to get your candy, chocolate, and nut fix. Then I stopped by at Conshohocken Italian Bakery @conshybakery to try out their tomato pie and bread. I never been to the bakery but I always loved their rolls and bread when I went to local restaurants or events where they served their baked goods. Fantastic Stuff! After a two and a half year snow drought, we finally got some snow today! It was only 3 inches so shoveling wasn't too bad especially when a enterprising young kid asks if you need help. Hello Friends! A few snaps from today's Christmas Celebration! We had a Fun, Low Key and Relaxing Day. In the morning we went to Christmas Mass and the church was beautifully decorated and the sermon was really good. Got a Christmas coffee at Wawa and came home to have Christmas Dinner. Thanksgiving Dinner was a quite dinner with just Mom, Dad, Dusty and I but it was totally delicious! Everything came out so good. Mom and I didn't make a lot of sides, just our favorites. We had Turkey Breast, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, Biscuits and tasty Pineapple Wine! Any more and it would have been too much. Yesterday I was up in Hamburg, PA to go to @cabelas. My Dad had some rewards points on his Cabela's Rewards Card and he wanted to get my Mom and I a few things. I got a nice lightweight winter coat, camo shoes, nice hat, and some shirts and Mom got a few shirts too. ❤️ Then we went to the Leesport Diner for Lunch! Wow was that a huge and delicious meal! We all had the Stuffed Cabbage Special! Two huge stuffed cabbages and mashed potatoes! You also got a cup of soup (I got Veggie Soup) and my most favorite thing to get was the Salad from a SALAD BAR!!!! OMG I missed getting stuff from a SALAD BAR and it's good to see a lot of Restaurants are adding them back. Everything on their salad bar was fresh and super tasty! I especially Loved the Pickled Beets and the Pasta Salad! ❤️ We also got a huge size scoop of Ice Cream for Dessert. Black Raspberry! Yum! All of this good food for just $11.99!!! ❤️ This diner is so clean and well kept. Great service and tasty food! Definitely will go back, I wish KOP had a good diner like this but KOP with all of its restaurants is a lousy area to go out and eat in a restaurant. The dead zone of good food! Today I went to Longwood Gardens @longwoodgardens for my parents 56th Wedding Anniversary. We had a Nice time and it was a Beautiful and Gorgeous Day! The weather was perfect, not too hot, no rain, and plenty of sunshine! Lots of pretty late summer flowers and greenery to see! The orchids were particularly Amazing! We had lunch at The Terrace Cafe! Yesterday I went to my favorite Starbucks @starbucks in KOP, the one that is near Wegmans at the Town Center. @koptowncentersbux My Aunt Pat sends my Mom some coffee cash every once in a while and we usually go to Starbucks or another coffee place get Lattes! Beauty is found in the most unusual places! Today I saw these Beautiful White Brazil Jasmine (Mandevilla/Dipladenia) Flowers at the Pottstown McDonalds on Shoemaker Road today. Hello Friends! I am finally posting my photos from the vacation I took to visit my sister down in Lower Slower Delaware back in June! Took me a while because I didn't post anything while I was away, I was busy and I just wanted to relax and take a break from social media. Then towards the end of my vacation, I started to feel a bit run down and when I got back last Thursday, I had a horrible cough that turned into a sinus infection. I've been battling that for the past week and Thankfully after seeing my GP, I am feeling better. 🏖️ So here is the 1st Set of photos from the trip. One day my sister and I went to @capehenlopenstatepark Cape Henlopen State Park to spend the day at the beach. He had a nice day that was perfect! The weather was warm but not humid and we had a nice breeze from the ocean. We collected beach stones and shells and dipped our feet in the ocean. We also visited the Fort Miles Historic Area and the Nature Center that is in the Park. Afterwards we went to Lewis and stopped at The Station on Kings @thestationonkings to got some tasty bakery items! I got their Ginger and Lemon Poppy Cookies, Passion Fruit, Peach, and Strawberry Macarons and a Matcha Iced Latte! Delicious!!! Then we shopped at The Brush Factory @thebrushfactoryonkings where lots of local crafters and artists sell their creations. Fantastic place to shop! The also sell Amish Foods and Local Produce too. We had Mexican Food for dinner!
