🥊The Evening After The Night Before🥊 Rewatched without commentary just to sit and score and take some general observation notes, and here's my takeaways from a great fight. Rounds 1-3: Easily 10-9 for Usyk in all the first three Fury hurt by shots for the first time at the end of the first round and early in the second as well and not looking happy at the end of the 3rd after getting caught again towards end of round (tried to smile - but clearly it got his attention.) Round 4: Fury lands (and probably throws) more in this round than he did in the first 3 combined actually finally strings some shots together and Usyk suddenly looking rattled head clash causes cut on Usyk's eye. Easily 10-9 for Fury best round for either so far. Rounds 5 and 6: Exhibition stuff from Fury, vintage Fury really as good as he's ever looked for me putting it all on Usyk pulling out all the moves, never seen anyone completely out box Usyk for 3 rounds on the trot, hurts Usyk to the body in 5 and with big uppercuts in the 6th, Fury really has the bit between his teeth - now night and day compared to first 3 rounds. Both 10-9 for Fury. Round 7: again all Fury, hardest 4 rounds back to back of Usyk's career and amongst the best of Fury's considering the opponent. Fury 10-9 and now leading 4-3. Round 8: Big Usyk round and most important of the fight making a big dent in Fury when the fight seemed to be slipping away by the end of the round Fury's face is a bit of a mess possibly a broken nose and Tyson has shipped some pretty severe punishment and looks a little bit sickened as the round ends. Usyk 10-9 Round 9: Brutal round for Fury easily the worst he's ever been hurt and worst round of career one punch from being stopped saved from ko by ref 10-8 for Usyk Round 10 and 11: Usyk keeps the punches flowing rattling Fury again and again Fury gamely trying to recover something but can't seem to stop Usyk coming at him or keep him off him. Usyk 10-9 in both rounds Round 12: Usyk will not be denied and will not let Fury rest or keep running Fury just trying to keep him away but can't Fury just holding left glove out and circling but Usyk just keeps pressing. 10-9 Usyk 116-111 for Usyk
