Liebe ist… wenn eins zum anderen kommt ❤️❤️❤️ Ein keines Leporello/Minialbum (mit eingenähten zusätzlichen Seiten) passend zum kommenden Valentinstag oder einfach so zum Thema „Liebe“. (Werbung) #miaskreativteam @miaspapierwerkstatt In einem meiner letzten Beiträge habe ich schon einmal eine Karte mit geprägtem Buchleinen (3D-Embossingfolder) gezeigt. Weil mir das so gut gefallen hat, habe ich inzwischen ein wenig weiter gepröbelt, damit auch kleinere Buchbindeprojekte mit geprägtem Buchleinen eingebunden werden können. Für das Cover habe ich das Buchleinen „ziegelrot meliert“ verwendet. Der goldige Unterton dieses Leinens, der je nach Licht leicht durchschimmert, gefällt mir besonders gut. Für das Innenleben meines kleinen Minialbums habe ich die Seiten teilweise mit Rub-ons, Farbspritzern und Dots verziert. Fast alle für dieses Projekt verwendeten Materialien stammen aus meinem Lieblingsladen @miaspapierwerkstatt . Hochzeitskarte mit geprägtem Buchleinen 💍💍💍 (enthält Werbung) #miaskreativteam @miaspapierwerkstatt Bei @miaspapierwerkstatt sind vor Jahresende ein paar sehr schöne 3D Embossingfolder eingezogen. Die Idee, die Prägeschablonen anstelle von Papier mit einem anderen Material zu verwenden, hatte ich schon lange im Kopf. Nun, ich habe ein wenig gepröbelt und finde das Ergebnis mit Buchleinen einfach super schön! Kombiniert habe ich das Buchleinen mit ausgestanzten Papierblättern, die ich mit Magicals Farbpigmenten bemalt und - für den feinen Glitzereffekt - noch eingestäubt habe. Übrigens lassen sich so kleine Resten von Buchleinen wunderbar verwerten. Probiert es aus! Sustainable Textile Dyeing: Cold Pad Batch Technique For decades, we have been dyeing our natural finish cover materials following the cold pad batch technique (CPB). This method stands out for its eco-friendliness when compared to conventional dyeing methods. The process is called "cold" because it operates at or near room temperature, as opposed to traditional dyeing methods that often involve higher temperatures. As it operates at lower temperatures combined with relative low water consumption, it reduces energy consumption and environmental impact. After the dye is mixed, the fabric is padded (rolled) through the dye liquor, ensuring an even distribution of the dye mixture onto the fabric. This padding process can be performed at room temperature, hence the term "cold pad."
