Tea is a haunting historic play about four Japanese women who are tasked with cleaning their friend’s home after her untimely and tragic passing. The ghost of their friend lingers in the home, and pushes her still living friends to address their discontent. All five women live in the middle of Kansas and are married to members of the military who were stationed in Japan.
