It was a strange coincidence and the movie for us has held a special place in remembering you. It was a nice day, and you all had a great ride. On March 13, you had asked me for my opinion about what color to use for the shirt in your drawing. As always, your choice was better. On March 5, we went to the Drawing Room for an exhibit and workshop and you had drawn a similar style (with the eyes) and the instructor praised you for it…they loved it and said it was very striking and encouraged you to continue. #megansmile My Melody Last weekend, we decided to jog/walk your last half marathon route. It was not easy for non-athletes like me, it was so hilly. We took your scooter in case your little brother got tired, but honestly I had to use it more than he wanted to (he was a trooper). I was amazed how you ran this course. About midway through, we saw a My Melody pen on the side of the road, on our path. It reminded us of you. You had made a My Melody build a bear and it was one of your favorite Sanrio characters. It also started to snow. ❄️ It was so pretty. You gave us the push to finish the course. We finished it in about 5.5 hours. The pain we felt in our legs doesn’t compare to the pain we feel in our hearts. Thanks for the special oh so magical signs, sweetheart. 💕 We see you. One day, you saw this cute cat squishmallow and gave it a hug. After we got back from Boston this weekend, your dad saw someone had posted a similar squishmallow on our neighborhood Buy Nothing FB page. Made us think of you. Your dad wasn’t picked but he sent a message to the person who claimed it to keep us in mind in the future when they are ready to part with it (we offered to pay for it too if they wanted). Long story short, they insisted of dropping it off at our place. They left it together with a sweet note, a plant and even tea. We were so touched by the kindness of complete strangers.
