Hoje, 21 de junho de 2023, a Organização Nacional Antidopagem de Cabo Verde (ONAD-CV) anuncia a implementação do Passaporte Biológico e do Sistema de Administração e Gestão Antidopagem (ADAMS), na cidade da praia. Desta forma, a ONAD-CV, iniciou hoje as primeiras recolhas de sangue para o Passaporte Biológico, onde o mesmo define-se por um perfil hematológico e esteroidal dos atletas, proporcionando um acompanhamento contínuo e individualizado de seus dados biomédicos ao longo do tempo. Para garantir o sucesso da implementação dessas novas medidas, a ONAD-CV está a contar com a expertise e o suporte do Diretor Executivo da Autoridade Antidopagem de Portugal (ADoP), Doutor António Júlio Nunes, acompanhado por uma equipa de três técnicos especializados, para auxiliar a integração eficiente do Passaporte Biológico e do sistema ADAMS em Cabo Verde.
