The ISRN, in collaboration with the RAHEE Group as part of its CSR initiative, is dedicated to elevating Government Schools in the Haridwar region to Uttam Schools status. Our focus is on ensuring inclusive, equitable education opportunities in line with SDG 4. The Uttam School Project endeavours towards the upliftment of learning standards in underserved and rural Indian communities by implementing infrastructural enhancements and improving health and hygiene standards in selected schools. As per the need assessment report, Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharm Inter College in Kankhal, Haridwar had drinking water platforms but in dilapidated conditions with broken taps that needed urgent renovation. However, as safe drinking water contributes to creating a conducive learning environment, ISRN took up the issue with utmost urgency. Therefore, under the Uttam School Project, a safe drinking water station has been installed at the Kankhal School with the primary aim of safeguarding students against the risks of dehydration, gastrointestinal ailments, and waterborne illnesses.
