Je kunt hem ook als Fanta Frozen nemen (ook voor €3,90 maar dan heb je in verhouding meer slushie), dan zit er geen softijs bij. Het softijs van de Efteling is echt mega lekker. 🌟 Food Review! 🌟 🥞 Pannenkoek zalm, kruidenroomkaas en rucola 📍Polles Keuken, @efteling 💸€16.50 Ik kom helaas niet vaak bij Polles Keuken, hoewel ik het wel een erg leuk restaurant vind. Ik ging tot nu toe altijd voor een zoete pannenkoek, maar ik hou van zalm, dus ik wilde erg graag de pannenkoek met zalm, kruidenroomkaas en rucola proberen. De pannenkoek is rijkelijk belegd zodat je niet aan het einde geen zalm of roomkaas meer over hebt. Ik vond de smaakcombinatie erg lekker en heb heerlijk mijn bord leeggegeten! Daarna zat ik wel flink vol, dus je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld (hoewel ik de prijsstijgingen de laatste tijd bizar vind). Persoonlijk zou ik de pannenkoek nog beter vinden als het gewone roomkaas in plaats van kruidenroomkaas was en als de gerookte zalm warm was. Maar hey, ik ben een kieskeurige high maintenance meid en je kan nu eenmaal niet altijd zes gooien. Mesa called Jar-Jar Binks! 😆 This weekend I visited Disneyland wearing the new dorky Star Wars Jar-Jar Binks hat! Oh, how It’s the little things in life that bring me so much joy haha! While in Batuu, we were also lucky enough to run into the new BD Droids! These little BD Droids have so much personality and we had a blast watching them explore Batuu! After catching up Rey, she sent us on a mission was to scrounge around Batuu & Tomorrowland to decrypt the Season of the Force Rebel code. Once complete we were given a commemorative Chewbacca trading card! All that hunting made us a bit hungry, so we stopped at Docking Bay 7 to try their new Fried Chicken Baos: Two Crispy Chicken Baos, Spicy Katsu Sauce with Creamy Slaw. Surprisingly delicious, but a bit of a small portion size in my opinion. Before the nights end we dropped into Oga's Cantina to try the new drinks, the Fiery Mustafarian & Silver Sea Martini. These drinks were originally featured on the Galactic Starcruiser and have recently made their way to Batuu. Both were delicious, but I especially liked the Fiery Mustafarian. 🌟 Food Review! 🌟 🍤 Zeebanket 📍De Meermin, @efteling 💸€6.75 (update: €7.75) Het zeebanket is mijn absolute favoriet bij de Meermin! Het bestaat uit gefrituurde mosselen (5 stuks), inktvisringen (2 stuks) en gefrituurde garnalen (2 stuks). Het werd lekker vers voor me klaargemaakt en was dus goed heet. Ik vind vooral de mosselen echt heerlijk. De garnalen hadden een beetje te veel deeg en te weinig garnaal. Het deeg was wel lekker knapperig. Bij de inktvisringen is de verhouding deeg en inktvis iets beter. Ik nam er overigens geen saus bij, maar besprenkelde het wel een beetje met de citroen die je erbij krijgt. Mijn ranking van beste naar iets minder goed: mossel > inktvisringen > garnalen. Conclusie: mega lekker, een van mijn favorieten in de Efteling. Wat eet jij het liefst bij de Meermin? Hij was €3,75 toen ik hem kocht, maar ik meen dat deze inmiddels ook in prijs zijn gestegen naar rond de €4. Hij is wat minder zoet dan de witte variant, wat ik fijn vind aangezien de stroopwafel van zichzelf al vrij zoet is. Ook voor deze geldt: deze gaat altijd deels in m'n tas mee naar huis omdat 'ie best machtig is. De crispies zijn wel een leuke topping die voor wat afwisseling in textuur zorgen. Ik ging niet voor de ‘gewone’ poffertjes met poedersuiker, maar voor een van de specials, namelijk die met nutella en banaan. Een erg goede keuze! De poffertjes zelf worden heerlijk vers gemaakt met een flinke portie poedersuiker. Verder is de combinatie nutella en banaan altijd goed natuurlijk 🍌🍫 De chocoladesaus is warm, dus je kan er je poffertjes lekker in dippen. Een aanrader, vooral als je van zoet houdt! In the battle of the breakfasts we tried the Waffle Cristo from Royal Street Veranda vs the Breakfast Chimichanga outside of Big Thunder Mountain. The waffle cristo is light, rich and the jam pairs amazingly with it. The Chimi is thick and stuffed with egg, cheese, meat (bacon or sausage, I'm not sure) and surprisingly diced potato. The winner was undecided as Shi & Tiff both loved the waffle, but Tiff preferred the Chimi while Shi felt it was a one and done. The Garlic Kissed Grilled Sirloin was surprisingly tender and very tasty.
