What happens when Brantley Foster (Fox) moves to the big city and tries to “make it big”. A series of events leads him to seek out a long distant relative and current CEO of Pemrose Corp. a multi conglomerate, who reluctantly gives him a job in the mailroom. And, before long this kid has conned himself into a corporate executive with big ideas and big dreams while also falling madly in love with Christy Wills (Slater) a colleague at the company. It’s mischief and hilarity all around that only exacerbates his thin ice when he meets Vera (Margaret Whitton) a ... well, you’ll have to revisit this classic if you don’t know. She literally has the best lines of the film and remains perfection. I love this film and this film intro with narrative and music reminds me how incredible the 80’s were. This could be a tragedy for your child who looks froward to that practice every week or it could become a wonderful memory of the two of you eating ice-cream and laughing at the funny stories your child had from his day at school. The choice comes down to being flexible and having a positive attitude;). Ok off to bed! So I am jumping in on the #thesecretofmysucess with @sister_yoga @ania_75 @kateswarm @dreamer_youka because I respect and admire these girls but also because I think it's always important to help out others so they can reach their goals in life. As many of you have figured out I was a teenage mom. I had my baby angel at the age if 19. This made me grow up fast and also made me work my butt off to raise my son by myself, to pay my bills, and made me come up with solutions not excuses to succeed. I was so blessed during my final semester of College to be introduced to my fathers drug rep at the time Kelly M! Kelly was just like me but she was wiser because of time and maturity and she gave me many creative tips to succeed in life and I will always be grateful to her for this💗💗💙♥️. Any hoo, the most creative and honestly the best tip she ever gave me was actually the skill of creative interviewing. She taught me that if I can separate myself, leave a lasting impression and have a cheat sheet to follow incase I get into a ramble mode( me🙈🙈🙈ramble??) that I could get any job I wanted with the tools I had. My cheat sheet tool she helped me create was Sarah's pizza sized cookie with my selling traits. imagine being a national director of a huge pharmaceutical sales company coming in to see a young straight out of college girl after interviewing 20 others w more experience and seeing a young girl with a massive closed pizza box. You'd be curious right? Now imagine me calming down as I was prepared to answer question after question the whe time knowing that person was dieying to see what's in the box!!! It made me relax and feel excited about catching every word because I had a tool to use in the end to seal the deal. So when the interview as closing out I asked, "Do you have any questions or concerns that would keep me from getting this job?"And after that part was done I would say, "Great now let me show you why you should hire me and no one else!" And out would pop my interview cookie! My tool with 10 words with why they should hire me!! Not to shabby! My cheat sheet with a yummy leave behind! No more space! Lol #TheSecretOfMySuccess
