We drove up to the Highlands (Cairngorm route) and stopped at various dark places along the route where there was no traffic, zero light pollution, and no trees. So, there's not really one location but multiple stops. On our way, we saw multiple cars stopping alongside to catch the beautiful view with their families. Thankfully, there was no cloud coverage, and the stars looked pretty. The aurora was everywhere, right, left, and on top of us!? And surprisingly, it wasn't really in the north, haha. It was the best core memory we made, and I'm so happy and grateful for it! Thanks to the solar flares for this lovely display of lights. We drove up to the Highlands (Cairngorm route) and stopped at various dark places along the route where there was no traffic, zero light pollution, and no trees. So, there's not really one location but multiple stops. On our way, we saw multiple cars stopping alongside to catch the beautiful view with their families. Thankfully, there was no cloud coverage, and the stars looked pretty. The aurora was everywhere, right, left, and on top of us!? And surprisingly, it wasn't really in the north, haha. It was the best core memory we made, and I'm so happy and grateful for it! Thanks to the solar flares for this lovely display of lights.
