نيابة أمن الدولة العليا تخلي سبيل عمّال غزل المحلة أصدرت نيابة أمن الدولة العليا بالأمس 26 مايو 2024 قراراً بإخلاء سبيل كل من: السّيد/ وائل محمود أبو زويد، والسيد/ محمد محمود طلبة العاملين بمصنع غزل المحلة، واللذان ألقي القبض عليهما على خلفية اشتراكهما في إضراب عن العمل في أحد مصانع الغزل والنسيج بالمحلة الكبرى، ومن ثمّ إدراجهما على ذمة القضية رقم 717 لسنة 2024 حصر أمن الدّولة العليا. يذكر أن جهاز الأمن الوطني بمحافظة طنطا قد استدعى أكثر من 200 عامل/ة من عمال/ات غزل المحلة أطلق سراحهم/هن جميعاً في وقت لاحق، إثر قيام عمال/ات شركة مصر للغزل والنسيج بالمحلة الكبرى، بإضراب عن العمل في فبراير الماضي بدأ بمصنع الملابس ليشمل بعد ذلك جميع مصانع الشركة، مستخدمين/ات حقوقهم/هن الدستورية، وذلك للاحتجاج على عدم استجابة إدارة الشركة لمطالبهم/هن برفع الحد الأدنى للأجور، وامتناعها عن تنفيذ القرار الرّئاسي الذي صدر سابقاً برفع الحد الأدنى للأجور لـ 6 آلاف جنيه. بعد ذلك، قامت قوّات الأمن الوطني في 29 فبراير 2024 بإلقاء القبض على 9 من المشاركين/ات في الإضراب، أُطلق سراح 7 منهم، وأُبقيّ على كل من السّيدين/ وائل محمود أبو زويّد، ومحمد محمود طلبة، موجّهة لهما تهم الانضمام لجماعة إرهابية ونشر أخبار كاذبة، وحبسهما احتياطياً قرابة الـ 3 أشهر. #الحرية_للمعتقلين #بلادي #FreeThemAll

In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health quoted the General Authority for Civil Affairs who announced that a 14-year-old child, identified as Majd Shaher Aramin, was killed by occupation forces. Yesterday at The Peoples’ Conference USPCN was honored to be able to present political prisoner #WalidDaqqa’s wife Sana Daqqa a poster created by @jesusvbarraza from @dignidadrebeldeart on behalf of the steering committee 💚 Walid Daqqa was a Palestinian political prisoner who recently passed away due to medical negligence by the Israel prisons after decades of imprisonment. An act of #ReproductiveResistance, their daughter Milad, in these photos, was born through sperm smuggling, which began in the 2000s and has resulted in over 100 Palestinian children born. Walid often wrote letters to his future child, 15 years before Milad was even born. It was Walid’s dream to have a child - as Sana stated the birth of Milad made him feel as though a part of him was finally liberated. The Israeli occupation forces often keep the bodies of political prisoners who have passed away, demanding they “finish their sentences”. Due to this, Sana is currently leading a campaign to get Walid’s body released from the occupation so they can properly mourn. Walid’s impact cannot be understated as he helped educate other Palestinian political prisoners while incarcerated. Sana, a longtime activist, continues the work. We see the depravity of the occupation everyday, and we hold all Palestinian political prisoners and their families close to our heart. Gerima is one of the co-chairs of the Campaign to Free Incarcerated Survivors of Torture (CFIST), a campaign of the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (CAARPR). The main target of CFIST is the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, who has the power to grant clemency to every one of the hundreds of people who are still incarcerated despite their convictions being the proven result of torture by police. “What’s going on in these prisons is horrendous. People are treated like animals. People like Rico Clark and Lester Owens are locked up by corrupt cops like Brian Forberg for crimes they didn't commit,” said Darien Harris, who spent over 12 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted, describing how the entire legal system, from police and prosecutors to judges and politicians, is guilty of mass torture and false imprisonment.
