Great morning in Maitland for the MADA event. Maitland against Domestic Abuse Committee hosted a family fun day at Maitland Sportsground. A 2km walk this morning with some of the Joplin Lawyers Team and our Families. It is fundamental this community receives ongoing education about Domestic and Family Violence. Education is for men, women, boys, girls, adults and children. Miss A (my daughter) joined us on our walk. The Committee also put on a family fun day with lots of activities for children of all ages. Miss A had a blast in the sandpit and even made friends with the entertainment. She’s a little groupie now. This is Rosie’s story about confronting grief, becoming an accidental hero and reclaiming hope.
