Almost forgot to post this. We had lunch on Thursday at Chef Art Smithโs Sunshine Diner in the Orlando International Airport. Weโve eaten at Art Smithโs Homecominโ in Disney Springs we figured the food would have to be good. And it was. I had the Country Fried Steak with Smashed Potatoes covered in Sawmill Gravy & Roasted Carrots. Steak & mashed were excellent. The carrots were good, I tend to like mine a little softer and crispier. Rhea had the Cuban Sandwich which she loved. Ham, Mojo Pork, Swiss Cheese, Pickles, Mustard on Cuban Bread. As airport food goes this is one of the best weโve had and they donโt rob you- like Brooklyn Diner does. Ridiculous prices at that one. Our waiter was really good too, place was spotless. Hand battered chicken which has been buttermilk-brined for 24 hours.
