@worldvision regards safeguarding children we serve as foundational to all our activities and programmes. Central to everything we do is our commitment to first do no harm to children, to respect the rights of children, and to uphold the best interests of children as a primary consideration in all actions and decisions. World Vision China worked with academic and social work partners to develop Child Safe Organisation Framework (CSOF; 社会组织儿童安全规范促进示范) to propose child protection and safety among CSOs that serve children in China. We conducted TOT training to 23 CSOs in Jiangxi Province to build their capacity and promote the adoption of CSOF. The seed CSOs have further trained 210 local CSOs--enhancing child protection for the 10 million+ children in the province. A provincial government official, present at the project conclusion seminar, was impressed by the impact of the project--enhancing child protection in the province as well as raising overall capacity of local CSOs.
