The Dow Jones Industrial Average recently closed above 40,000 for the first time, a significant milestone in a strong year for Wall Street. However, this number has little direct impact on your 401(k). Why the Dow Matters Less Now The Dow’s relevance is diminishing. It represents a small portion of corporate America, and most 401(k) accounts track broader indices like the S&P 500, which includes nearly 17 times more companies. Recent Milestone and Economic Context The Dow crossed the 40,000 mark, closing at 40,003.59, despite high inflation and interest rates. This reflects robust profit growth among companies and a resilient economy that has avoided a recession. However, the Dow’s threshold is just one of many indicators of the broader stock market’s performance. Comparing the Dow and S&P 500 Professional investors prefer the S&P 500 over the Dow. The S&P 500 provides a more comprehensive view of the market. At the end of 2019, over $11.2 trillion in investments were benchmarked to the S&P 500, compared to $32 billion for the Dow. The S&P 500 has outpaced the Dow recently, thanks to its weighting of Big Tech stocks like Alphabet and Nvidia, which have driven significant gains. The S&P 500’s approach of weighting stocks by their total market value offers a different perspective compared to the Dow’s emphasis on stock prices. The Dow’s Historical Significance Despite its reduced impact, the Dow remains a valuable historical barometer. Its triple-digit moves once symbolized significant market shifts. However, today, a 100-point swing in the Dow signifies less than a 0.3% change. What This Means for Your 401(k) Most 401(k) plans are more likely to include S&P 500 index funds rather than Dow-based funds. Therefore, the S&P 500’s milestones, like its recent climb above 5,300 points, are more relevant to your retirement savings. At Ingham Retirement Group, we focus on the broader market trends that affect your investments. For personalized advice on navigating these market dynamics and securing your financial future, schedule a free consultation with our experts today.

Can people become millionaires with $161/m? In this video, I go over 401ks and how 401k matches can help you get on track to millionaire status. When I first got into personal finance, I borrowed “Automatic Millionaire” and “Millionaire Next Door” from the Brooklyn Public Library. Since then, I’ve taken for granted that millionaire status is a modest and realistic goal… But recently I realized, maybe not all people think this way? Saving even $161 per month is still a huge privilege, but in case it’s even remotely accessible to you, consider using the power of the 401k match to turbocharge those savings. As always, this is not financial advice. This is for educational purposes only. Did you know about 401ks and 401k matches? #gold Have you ever considered who all of the millions upon millions of people that have not paid their #mortgage - #rent in over a year owe all that money to? The #Banks.  Yes those same banks that we keep all our money in.  And one day very soon, those banks will fail keeping all of the money you have left in them.  Now IMAGINE This....Imagine going to your #bank right now, Imagine taking out ALL the hundreds and thousands💸 and buying as much #silver as you can at $18 per ounce or #Gold at $1,500 per ounce.  Now As You Imagine this, Imagine the next day, the #stockmarket crashes and all the banks start closing.  Imagine sitting there where you are right now, watching on this very screen you are looking at, hundreds of thousands of panicked people flocking to the banks desperately trying to get their money out.  And Because you heeded the warning, took action, and removed all your money from the banks, the #401k's, #stocks, #cryptocurrency, Just the day BEFORE the #collapse, you now sit peacefully at home with your silver and gold.  Now Imagine day three, Stock markets around the world continues to crash as more banks close PERMANENTLY keeping all of the peoples money, while the price of EVERYTHING we need to survive goes up 100%, in one day( #hyperinflation).  Now as you see the suffering people who have been waiting in line for days to get their #cash while others desperately try to order things online only to find out their bank cards do not work.  But when you check the price of Gold on that day, you learn that the ounces of gold that you bought at $1,500 per ounce is now $30,000 per ounce.  And now the silver you bought at $18 per ounce is now $700 per ounce.  Can you Imagine how you will feel knowing because we paid attention to Messiah #LouisFarrakhan, we have months worth of food, water, and supplies stored up and all of our #wealth is PRESERVED and INCREASING as we are safe and secure in our homes as riots break out all over the country?  And WHEN the New #currency is introduced, we can convert our gold/silver into that currency without losing our money. #dailywarning103  Please send donations to $DOOMALERT or paypal.me/dooma

The "wealth formula" can include various principles and strategies, but one of the most common formulas to create and build wealth is to: 1. Spend less than you earn. 2. Save or invest the difference for long-term growth. 3. Minimize high-interest debt and focus on building good credit. 4. Create additional streams of income through side hustles or freelance work. 5. Continuously educate and improve your financial literacy and investment knowledge. 6. Be patient, consistent, and mindful of your financial goals and priorities. Of course, individual circumstances and preferences can affect the best approach to building wealth, but these general principles can serve as a framework for financial success. #finance #money #investing #wealthmanagement #financialplanning #retirementplanning #financeeducation #investmenttips #personalfinance #smartinvesting #budgeting #taxplanning #assetmanagement #financialgoals #financialfreedom #powerofzero #taxfreeretirement #401k #ira #businessownership

Options expiration! Options that expired today: ABR $15 calls BXMT $20 and $21 calls MLCO $8 calls, since this option was in the money (MLCO being over $8 per share), my shares will be sold at $8 a share. Since my cost basis is below $8 I make the difference, plus what I was paid for the calls. PLTR $20 calls - same as above with MLCO PLTR $30 calls PLTR $24 and $25 puts. Since PLTR is under those prices I will be buying those shares. Then I'll turn around and write covered calls on the shares next week probably. SQ $85 calls U $34 $40 $41 $42 $44 and $45 calls All of the expired calls are now gone, and I can sell new calls on the underlying stock. So - the cycle repeats and I get a small amount of more cash in for the stocks I am holding. I will keep doing this until I have built up enough stock, with enough passive income (dividends) that I no longer need to play this game. It's normal to have your relationship with money to change as you gain more financial freedom. I think these 7 levels do a good job of describing the different levels of financial security! One thing you may notice is that there is ZERO mention of age here. You could be born into abundant wealth and stay there your whole life or you could never even reach financial clarity after working for decades. Most of us, however, can move through these ranks as we get older and trade our human capital (our ability to work) for financial capital (money) and hopefully some accompanying financial knowledge. If you ever want to retire, you need to reach level 6. For some (if not most), this is all you ever need. I think dreaming about reaching abundant wealth is something all of us have done at some point, but the seldomly talked about part about reaching abundant wealth is that it usually requires working for WAY longer. If you give me the choice between working an extra 15-20 years to reach abundant wealth, or retiring and doing only work that I want to do and on my terms but stay at level 6, I'm choosing 6 all day. To me, having more freedom is more important than having more money than I need. I see money as a tool buy me time and freedom, not just a means to acquire more stuff. The good part is that anyone reading this has the ability to reach AT LEAST level 6. All it requires is making a plan and sticking to it! Most personal finance pages: “Buy my course to learn how to invest to be a millionaire!!” Me: *Pins free guide to profile showing you the step-by-step guide to retire a millionaire with Vanguard* Sometimes it’s easy to understand the concepts of investing, but the mechanics of ACTUALLY doing it are a bit tougher. Hopefully this post helps make it a bit easier. This being said, it’s hard to fit all the details in one insta post, so here are a few things to be mindful of: 1️⃣ Due to the 10 slide limit, I had to leave a few pages out. The one that I would like to call out is that before setting up auto-investments, you will have to make a purchase of the mutual fund first 2️⃣ If you are starting with smaller contributions, you will have to buy ETFs and will not be able to auto-invest with Vanguard. Just do it manually until you have enough to convert to a mutual fund! 3️⃣ The Roth vs traditional IRA decision is a whole different concept to dive into, which I cover on my page frequently 4️⃣ I have no allegiance to Vanguard, but I do like them as a company. Fidelity and Schwab could provide you a nearly identical service. 5️⃣ If you can’t invest a lot now, you can do this with VERY little. Investing takes TIME to be successful, so starting now with just a bit will still make a huge difference in the long term. Hope this is helpful - doing this and only this will literally single-handedly make you a millionaire (pretty good deal free if you ask me 🙂) - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide Have you set up an IRA with Vanguard?

Credit cards are a HUGE double edged sword. If you use them correctly, you can get a lot of rewards from them AND you get a lot of added security. I've had people skim my credit card before, and all I did was contact the credit card company and have them cancel the transaction and the card. Didn't lose a penny and it was EASY. If you use a debit card, it's not so easy to get your money back. When I say use your credit card correctly, I mean NEVER let your balance roll over to the next month. The problem with credit card debt is that it's super high interest. If you are a bit short this month, you'll be a bit more short next month. Let that happen month after month and you eventually are using all your money trying to keep up with late payments. If you don't have the money to pay for it outright, don't buy it on a credit card. They are not meant to be cash advances for you, they are meant to add a layer between you and the vendor. This layer is important for security, but can be easily misused. If you have trouble sticking to always paying on time, try to pay your credit card weekly instead of monthly. Break the mental association that credit cards give you more time to pay a charge. As soon as you swipe that card, you should treat that money like its gone (because it is). Be like Olivia and get the benefits of credit cards. Sometimes it can feel like finding money to invest is IMPOSSIBLE, and I get that. But don't let the idea that you have to be investing TONS of money stop you from finding ways to invest a bit of money. There are TONS of options to make an extra $100-200 a week, and some of them can even be fun. You could tutor in something you're good at, or do some gig work to get out of the house for a few hours. That extra money can make a HUGE difference in the long term. You might read that and think "that sucks, I don't want to work EVEN MORE" and that's okay too. Maybe it's easier for you to cut your expenses a bit, or focus on getting raises at your primary job. The point is is that just a bit of extra cash, either on the income side or the expense side, can add up to a LOT over time. This assumes a 10% return, a bit below the ~11% return of the S&P500 over the last 30 years. While this doesn't factor in inflation, neither do my calculations around contributions. Bill's side hustle will generate more income over time as prices rise with inflation. There is a very real chance Bill has MORE than $3.7m and this $3.7m is closer to the real, inflation adjusted value. This scenario is a rough estimate to show you the power of compounding interest. It's not supposed to pinpoint the wealth you will accumulate over time or be the basis for your financial plan. You should be excited about investing, because if you're consistent over a long period of time, it can change your life for the better! - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

I have some good news for you - personal finance is actually pretty simple! You only have two core aspects of your personal finance that you need to think about - how much you make and how much you spend. The third aspect of this is what you do with what you don't spend, but you have to get a grasp of spending and income before you worry about what you're doing with your spare cash. Personal finance is VERY personal. Let's say you want to spend $500 on a vintage thimble collection. I don't know why you want to, but you do. ANY of the items on this post (and many many more) could offset that cost (either by saving you money or making you more money). Would I recommend people go out and spend $500 on a vintage thimble collection? I don't really care actually - if it's important to you, then sure. This is the core of personal finance that SHOULD be emphasized. You should prioritize finding money to spend on things you ACTUALLY care about, and you should find ways to CUT on things you don't care about. If thimble collections, or cars, or restaurants, or anything else are you "thing," that's OKAY and you shouldn't feel bad about spending on it. Look at your personal finances holistically, find things you care about, plan on how to afford them while still meeting your long term goals, and don't stress about it beyond that! You should be critically looking at both sides of your personal finance balance sheet to find ways to both save on things you don't care about and earn more in ways that aren't detrimental to your life. If you can do both of those, you will be able to fund your passions and set yourself up long term. Personal finance is about finding ways to fund the life you want, not about being miserable to get ahead financially! - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb

Should you LEASE or BUY your next ride? I want to be clear - this is an illustrative example. There are WAY too many variables to define one scenario of comparison given how many options there are on the auto market. That being said, regardless of assumptions, this GENERAL trend is going to hold true. Leasing will save you a bit of money up front, but over the long term, it's going to cost you way more. Cars are depreciating assets, so my take is that spending on them should really be reduced as much as possible. If you're a car person and you want to have the best ride possible, that's okay, but you should just know that it can have a huge impact on your financial life. The great part about personal finance is that you have the ability to make decisions to about things that make you happy. If you want to lease a new car every three years, go ahead! But if you also want to get ahead financially, you'll likely have to make sacrifices in other areas of your life. I don't own a car because I life in NYC, but if I did, I would personally buy the cheapest car that I could that I felt was decently reliable. If I did have to borrow for it (which I likely wouldn't because I have enough money to buy outright), I would pay it off ASAP because having debt on a depreciating asset isn't how you get rich. Hope this helps to illustrate a general comparison of cash flows for leasing vs. buying - assumptions for each scenario below! Purchase assumptions: $30k car, 5% sales tax, 6k down payment, 7% interest rate, 48 month loan Lease: 7% interest rate, 2k down, 36 month lease, 61% residual value, $500 in lease fees - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

Sometimes when learning about personal finance, it’s SUPER easy to get overwhelmed by new terms and phrases. These are some common phrases I see tossed around in the investing world that might make things seem more complicated than they really are. Personal finance and investing are just like learning anything else - once you get to know the terms and phrases, it’s not as complicated as you may have originally thought! At the very least, understanding these terms will help give you the confidence you need to understand and keep learning. Happy investing everyone ✌🏻 - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

Who do you think is better off, Jess or Jen? There isn't really a simple answer here. It's almost like personal finance has an element of preference in it 🙄 The simple math of it is that your savings rate is what will determine how long it takes you to retire, not your income. Both Jess and Jen are projected to retire in 37 years - not too shabby if they started early. Could you argue that Jess is happier because she gets to spend $8k a month and Jen only spends $4k a month? Maybe, but it's not really that simple. Jess might live in a higher cost of living area, have a job that is really hard to give her those high earnings, or just be really bad with her money and not be getting utility out of it. When we talk about savings rate, it doesn't mean how much money you're putting in a savings account each month. It really means how much you are investing. If you were just putting money in a standard old savings account each month, you may never retire. The point of this post is to show you that savings rate is what will determine how long it takes you to retire, it's NOT to say one of these fictional characters is doing better than the other. Heck, some of the happiest people I know earn very little money and some of the most miserable people I know are making a ton. Find the savings rate that works for you and don't worry about how anyone else is doing! - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

This is NOT a political post, this is an investing post! No matter who the sitting president is, you always hear it - "the economy isn't doing well because of _____" or "______ is ruining the economy and the stock market is going to crash." You should NOT be changing your investing strategy based on who is president. Of course the president makes decisions that effect the economy, but it all gets priced in. If there are new laws being voted on by congress that would be favorable to big corporations, that is reflected in equity prices BEFORE THEY EVEN PASS based on the anticipated chance of them passing. This is what I mean by markets being efficient - as soon as this information is public, the stock market prices already reflects it. The sitting president also might not have the true economic impacts of their policies show until years after. The economy is a large and complex machine - not every decision will reflect it's true impact overnight. Making your decisions with a short term mindset doesn't make any sense. Democrats and republicans have had the stock market perform well and poorly under their term. It's a whole separate debate as to which philosophy of policies is better, but I'm telling you that as a retail investor, you shouldn't be changing your strategy based on who is president. Four to eight years isn't even considered long term in the world of investing, so no matter what you should be planning on riding your investments out beyond one sitting president. As always, set it and forget it is the best strategy. Don't get distracted by the headlines trying to get you to react in the short term! - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

There always seems to be a visceral reaction when you tell people you want to retire early - I think there is a notion that retiring early means sitting in front of your couch watching TV for the rest of your life. If that is your plan, you probably shouldn't retire early. Regardless of your plans for when you retire though, I don't think anyone would argue that reaching financial independence (basically, the ability to retire if you WANT to) is a bad thing. If you LOVE your job, you can continue to work with all extra earnings being the cherry on top. If you get fed up, you can quit. I wouldn't suggest making yourself miserable to reach the point where you have that freedom, but if you can achieve it sooner rather than later, why not? There is no down side. This is where savings rate comes in. You should try to balance the numbers you see in this post (e.g., when will I be able to retire?) with your current enjoyment (how much money do I need to spend now to be happy?). Finding that balance is key to making your financial goals sustainable. These are based on a few assumptions - 4% withdrawal rate at retirement, post tax income savings percentage and a 5% ROI (to incorporate inflation and bond allocation). This isn't meant to be the basis for your financial plan, just a rough estimate of savings rate and when that would make you financially independent. No matter what age you are or what your savings rate is, don't let this stress you out - use this as motivation if you want to improve (or validation if you feel like you're doing well already)! - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

I don't know how else to say this - you should pay ZERO attention to headlines like these! If you are one of the small handful of people who can reliably predict what the market is going to do, you're not writing these articles and you're not reading my posts. You're a billionaire and your managing a successful hedge fund. I hear it all the time and it get's commented on my posts all the time - something along the lines of "I'm holding cash because everyone knows the market is going to crash soon." That is NOT how markets work and historically, a decision to try to be smart like this loses you a TON of money. Markets are efficient. They're not always right about the future, but they are VERY efficient at including available information in pricing. If everyone knew the market was going to crash, it would be a RACE to pull out money. No one (professional or not) knows when it's going to crash, and there is a ton of data to support this. Articles that predict crashes or economic prosperity have one goal - to get you to click on the article. They care about their ad revenue, not the economy. The best thing you can do is ignore all of the news that claims to predict what is going to happen. I picked three comically bad ones here, but you can easily find hundreds of similar articles on Google. It's all clickbait. Markets do ebb and flow, but you won't gain an edge by trying to miss the downturns, you will only miss out on gains. The best approach is to stay invested no matter what and benefit from the long term trends of the market. If you predict a recession every year, you'll eventually be right. But it won't matter - you'll lose a lot more money with your inevitably wrong predictions than with your occasionally right one. - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb

If you talk to enough people about investing, you’ll eventually come across someone telling you about a “lost decade.” Sounds pretty scary right? A lost decade is a decade where the price of the market is the same or lower than it was a decade ago. The assumption when talking about this is that investing won’t make you any money, but that notion is based on some unrealistic assumptions. If the stock market is flat for 10 years, it is ALWAYS because there was a crash. A market simply will not trade sideways at the same price for 10 years. Investing isn’t just dropping a lump sum of cash into the market at once and waiting 10 years, it’s investing CONSISTENLTY. When you invest consistently, it means that when the market drops you will continue to invest and lower your average buy-in price. That means that you WILL make money as the market inevitably recovers. The other aspect of this that isn’t shown is dividends. Total market index funds pay about 1.5% in dividends per year - this 1.5% compounds and is an important part of total return. In the example of this post, using REAL data from one of the worst periods in stock market history, - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

I LOVE high yield savings accounts (HYSAs)! In fact, seeing the interest on a high yield savings account vs. a normal savings account was one of the first things that caught my eye and got me into personal finance. Everyone should have one! As much as I love them though, I do have to be honest with you. I see a ton of overhype on these accounts on Instagram, so I just want to set the record straight. Here is EXACTLY what high yield savings accounts should be used for: 1️⃣ Holding your emergency fund (3-6 months of living expenses) 2️⃣ Savings up for major purchases in the next 3-5 years and.... that's it! The problem I see with people hyping up HYSAs online is that they give people this false illusion that they will make a ton of money on HYSAs and that they can hold all their money there. If you hold any money beyond money for the reasons listed above in an HYSA, you are LOSING MONEY in the long term! HYSA rates are even as high as 5% right now, but the stock market returned 25%+ last year. HYSAs feel "safe" because they have protection from the downside of the market. They also only capture a fraction of the compounding that the market will give you over the long term. HYSA rates WILL go down when inflation gets fully under control and the fed cuts the federal funds rate again. The stock market will continue to crush whatever the HYSA rate is long term. Please get an HYSA - it will help you earn way more than a traditional savings account. Please DON'T hold off investing because you feel like an HYSA will help you get rich. - Matt #MatttheMoneyGuy #investing #investingtips101 #investingmoney #wealthcreator #personalfinancetips #investing101 #investingstrategy #moneyadvice #moneytime #personalfinancetips #retirementplanning #retirementgoals #getrichordietryin #richwomen #richmen #stockinvesting #stockmarketinvestor #personalfinanceclub #retireearly #financialindependenceretireearly #bogle #indexfunds #vti #401k #rothira #debtfreegoals #debtisdumb #investingguide

You Hit Financial Independence? Perfect! Now What? “In my experience, those who achieve financial independence before the traditional retirement age of 65 are disciplined savers and frugal spenders. They tend to have a hard time adjusting their lifestyle to early retirement. 📈💼 Net Worth Update - May 2024! 💼📈 The market has bounced back, and my net worth has climbed to $245,972! 📊📈 Last month saw a dip, but I wasn't deterred. I kept my focus on consistent investing, using automated systems to manage my investments. A portion of my paycheck goes directly into these investments, leaving me just enough for my fixed expenses. This month, my company's RSUs vested, and I made contributions to my 401k and Roth IRA. 📈💰 As we approach mid-year, I'm a bit concerned about reaching my net worth goal of $400k for 2024. Toward the year's end, I'll be reevaluating the equity of my rental properties, which have remained constant so far. Considering their appreciation, I'm hopeful they'll help me reach my goal. 🏠📈 Here's to consistent investing and a favorable market! 🚀💸 #NetWorthUpdate #Investing #FinancialGoals #RSUs #401k #RothIRA #RentalProperty #MarketBounceBack #FinancialJourney
