A SEA OF BUD VASES for last Saturdays wedding at @butleypriory , around 70 to be precise 🙌 . I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, the sun came out and I spent most of my time sorting out my garden, most people probably think I have the most amazing backyard, or something worthy of a Chelsea flower show piece garden, but alas not! It’s a working progress with structures being removed and new ones going up and desperately trying to fall in love with it as I have struggled to bond with my space for some time.. but I’m putting my all into it now, and slowly I’m beginning to feel a shift, so there’s definitely hope ! 🤞🤔 . This week some changes are being put in place to give me more time to get stuck into new projects to move the flower farm onwards and upwards ( anyone who read my post a few weeks ago will understand) but I’m excited to bring some new ideas that all my followers from around the UK can benefit from and enjoy. . The red bark is used to a great effect to allow the superstar foliage to stand out. There is our Fatsia in the background and boy does she look grand now. Dieses Jahr möchte ich vorallem im Gewächshaus Ollas zur Bewässerung ausprobieren. Also mal wieder fix in den Baumarkt und Tontöpfe geholt je 5 mit 21 und 23cm Durchmesser. Eine alte Fliese und nicht mehr so schöne Bienenwachskerzen hatte ich noch da. Mit der zerschlagenen Fliese und Wachs als Kleber habe ich das Loch in dem großen Topf verschlossen. Anschließend den kleineren Topf oben rauf und die beiden Töpfe mit dem flüssigen Bienenwachs abgedichtet. Insgesamt hat eine Olla jetzt ein Fassungsvermögen von 7,6 Liter und die Gesamtkosten für 5 Ollas haben sich auf 44,99 Eur belaufen. Um eine Olla habe ich 4 Tomaten gepflanzt. Von oben habe ich später noch einen Untersetzer raufgelegt. The garden is in its ‘green period’ at the moment, a weird phase of progress and non-progress, made more so currently by a bombardment of gastropods who are munching their way through new growth with gusto. The allotment on the other is looking very pleasing.
