It's day 60 for my @frostfireseeds Cherry Bangarang autoflower. I brought her up today to do a final defoliation and to pull her branches out to expose her buds to as much light as possible. She was transplanted from a solo cup to an @autopot_usa on day 16 and is currently being fed @cropsalt bloom nutes. I'm so excited for this plant to finish. She was described as being on the smaller side, but mine is definitely no smolpp!!! She has an amazing bouquet of cherry funk that is just so uncanny. These seeds were in testing at the time I received them and came as a freebie with the pack of Candy Smash I got from the drop. I was just so intrigued by the cherry terps that I honestly bought the Candy Smash just to try these out. I have one seed left, and I usually don't run the same strain back to back, but I'm just so impressed with this plant that I'll be popping the last one for my next grow!! Here's another pheno of my @night.owl.seeds Strawberry Safari f2 autoflower. She's on day 55 and is doing great. I trained her main cola down and out with a plastic lst clip to restrict her height and keep the canopy somewhat even, and used velcro straps to pull the lower branches out. @cropsalt for nutes, she's being grown on an @autopot_usa tray2grow system with her sisters and received a pretty heavy defoliation on day 40. This plants bud structure is a bit different than her sisters, which is really cool to see. It will be interesting to see how each phenotype differs in terpene profile and effects. Day 2 Flower, my two primary goals for early veg are; 1. Keep the plant chugging along with vigorous growth and 2. keep the stretch to a minimum. With LED lights, the spectrum is amazing, but the penetration is not. This makes it ever more important to slow the stretch and condense the cannopy vertically. I have gone through and removed all the bottom branches and most of the leaves on each branch. Getting rid of the lower branches helps to encourage the plants to produce larger, denser colas. I ike to leave 4-5 distinct nodes, the growth tip, and 2 fan leaves on eachìks of flower, I reduce the daytime temperature to 76-77. For a grow with CO2 supplementation, that's pretty low. My veg temperature is 81-82. By reducing the temperature, the growth is slowed. Next, I increased the night temperature to match the daytime temperature. The larger the day to night temperature difference, the faster the plants grow vertically. By keeping the temperature nearly the same, the internode length is reduced, and the tent is filled with rock hard colas and no larf. One last trick I use is to gradually reduce the light schedule to 12/12 over 8 days instead of a sudden flip. #defoliation

She was started in a solo cup and transplanted to an @autopot_usa on day 16. She's being fed @cropsalt nutes and was slightly under fed early on, but has been doing great since corrected. I brought her up today for some minor lst and defoliation. I didn't top her like I usually would because she isn't supposed to stretch too much, and I'm trying to stress her as little as possible. She's lit with an @hlgusa rspec running 24/0. The stem rub is putting off some amazing smells. It's really awesome to be trying something new, and I can't wait to see how she turns out!!!
