Maybe near a babbling brook or a raging river? I have. And it was a raging river. 😂 There was a fireplace and wood ready and waiting to be kindled. It was also the only source of heat in the tiny, cozy cabin. I call it cozy because it was only one room for sleeping, cooking and living in with a bathroom (a must when you’re in the woods, lol. Not really, but it was a nice luxury.) The only thing that tops waking up to this is waking up with a song playing in my heart and mind when I wake up that is singing a message of praise to God or is the Holy Spirit showing me something with the lyrics of a song. Either way, waking up to a tune playing in my head and letting it set the tone for my conversation with God before getting into His Word. Does this happen all the time with me? No. Especially not the cozy little cabin with a fireplace in the woods. 😘 But neither does the song in my heart, either. I wish it did. At least the latter can be fixed, I don’t see staying in a cabin any time soon, but I can imagine. 🥰 This is my desire, to have that back with God - giving me a song in the morning and waking up listening to and talking to God. It’s probably because my schedule has been turned topsy turvy over the past few weeks waiting for another grandbaby to be born, being on call 24/7 and spending nights (and days) in someone else’s house. The good news - we have a new grandson. The bad news - I’m trying to get back on track since my schedule has changed for a bit. Still somewhat on call, just not 24/7. 🙌👆🤣 God is so good! Because of their high tannic quality, most Oaks acorns are not safe for internal use, though many Native American tribes knew how to blanch the acorn to remove the excess tannic quality and make flour from it. Tannins are an indicator for antimicrobial, antiseptic qualities as well as anti-inflammatory and antibiotic in many cases. Although acorns aren't safe for internal consumption, they work as a great vulnerary in wound care, though beware of their drying quality.
