I stand before you tonight with a heart full of gratitude and humility. To be recognized for my hard work and dedication is an honor beyond words, especially as a woman of color. ALWAYS TRUST the process.
My journey has been paved with challenges, obstacles, and moments of doubt. But through it all, I've remained steadfast in my commitment to excellence, fueled by a passion to defy expectations and break barriers.
As an immigrant, I've faced unique struggles and systemic barriers that have tried to dim my light. But instead of succumbing to the darkness, I've used those challenges as fuel to ignite the fire within me.
Every late night spent studying, working, every setback turned into a comeback, every glass ceiling shattered – they have all been worth it. Because today, as I stand here accepting my victory as Women’s Director South! , I know that my hard work has paid off.
But I didn't get here alone. I stand on the shoulders of giants – my ancestors who fought for freedom and equality, my family who believed in me when I doubted myself, and my mentors who guided me along the way.
So tonight, I accept this honor not just for myself, but for every woman of color who has ever dared to dream big and work hard. Our voices, our stories, and our contributions matter, and together, we will continue to pave the way for future generations. Thank you for the opportunity to serve @cca4us @wearecta @neatoday
