At JLP, we believe there should be a clear pathway for our students' dance training, so they can develop safely and follow/celebrate their progression! ๐ We follow the world renowned dance syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD - www.istd.org/dance) where students have the opportunity to take their ISTD examinations from Grade 1. ISTD grades are seen as a mark of dance excellence, and are also taught at the top professional dance colleges worldwide. ๐ As an ISTD school, we provide our students with a regulated dance training programme, and all our teachers are highly qualified and vetted. When Iโm not teaching myself, I try to get along to classes as much as possible. I sat and watched 3 classes this afternoon and couldnโt stop smiling. Iโm so proud of each and every student at LRSD, whether I teach them every week or get to watch them in class every now and again ๐ Some Iโve watched grow from tiny 4 year olds, who are now teenagers and some who have maybe only been with us for a year or two๐ This afternoon Iโve watched a student give up their spot in class to someone that didnโt have one and another student do their travelling work a second time so that another student wasnโt on their own. New students are welcomed with smiles and made to feel part of the team. Sometimes I wish I really could as it would make life so much simpler for me! When you get in touch we will certainly be able to give you a rough idea of costs of some of our most regular floral arrangements such as bouquets and buttonholes and help you with a bit of a rough steer on overall costs. But until we know a lot more about your wedding, about you and what you like we can't put anything together with any accuracy. We're really not being difficult I promise, it's just that in our industry no one size fits all, which in fact is a really great thing as you are all unique people with different ideas! All flower stems are priced individually, are subject to seasonal fluctuations, all arrangements take different amounts of time to put together/build and take different quantities of product. Costs of designs have to be worked out on an individual basis, considering the time of year etc. making it all pretty time consuming this end. I know that this results in it being a bit harder to budget initially so I have made things easier by offering a few packages to help guide you and give you somewhere to start. Pop onto our site and have a look if you're interested, often couples will use these as a base and build on top. Also, to be very honest we love to meet you! That way we can get your vibe, do the best job for you and your wedding and not just trot out generic prices for arrangements that won't fit with your budget or your style. ISTD grades are seen as a mark of dance excellence, and are also taught at the top professional dance colleges worldwide. ๐ As an ISTD school, we provide our students with a regulated dance training programme, and all our teachers are highly qualified and vetted.
