You always made sure we had food on the table no matter what our budget was, we always had presents under the tree at Christmas, and even took classes at the local community college to learn how to bake and decorate us super cool birthday cakes. I was reminded of this during a recent sermon at church. Everyone who had a face to face encounter was different after meeting Jesus.
