This African lodge style resort features savanna views with more than 30 species of animals that can be viewed right from your room. ⭐ You’ll never be at a loss for delicious food. Enjoy the flavors of Africa at Boma or Disney’s signature restaurant Jiko. My favorite is enjoying the Savanna views and the bread service at Sanaa. On our last visit to this resort we sat on rocking chairs after dinner enjoying the animals while the kids took African drumming lessons.  ⭐ Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are separated into three separate booking options. Standard rooms at the Lodge accommodate up to four guests with either two queen beds or a queen and a set of bunk beds. The Villas are separated into Kidani Village or Jambo House and accommodate up to 12 guests in 1, 2 or 3 bedroom villas. Regardless of where on property you stay, you have options for standard view or savanna view rooms. Value resorts give you all the benefits of staying on Disney property but with a lower price tag. ⭐️ You can choose from Disney’s All Star Music, Disney’s All Star Sports or Disney’s All Star Movies resort. All resorts are similar in layout and features and are differentiated by their themes. Stay at Sports in the Surfs Up or Touchdown sections. Stay at Music at the Jazz Inn or Broadway Hotel. Or stay at Movies in a Love Bug or Fantasia Room. All three resorts feature wonderful themes along with Disney’s attention to detail. They all use buses for transportation to all Disney parks. ⭐ My favorite All Star Resort is Disney’s All Star Movies. The rooms have been recently renovated so you get two queen beds instead of two double beds. The second bed also folds up into the wall during the day to give you more floor space. The Contemporary is within walking distance of Magic Kingdom or you can take the monorail. Even if you aren’t staying at this resort it’s fun to take a ride through the tower on the monorail. The train goes right through the building! ⭐ Two of my favorite restaurants on property, Chef Mickey’s and California Grill, Are located inside this resort. Chef Mickey’s is a great place to enjoy a meal while Mickey and friends come right to your table. California Grill is one of Disney’s signature restaurants. It offers delicious meals as well as an incredible view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.  ⭐ Another unique feature to this resort is motorized boat rental. Stop by the Boat Nook Marina and rent a boat to cruise around Bay Lake or the Seven Seas Lagoon.  ⭐ Rooms at Disney’s Contemporary resort accommodate up to five guests. A great option for larger families is Bay Lake Towers at Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is the Deluxe Villa located on the same property.
