It's always an honor to be included on any pace team, and it's an extra honor to be on this pace team for a second consecutive year as a 3:50 pacer. There were 130 pacers from all over the globe, and we all came with a singular focus: to help runners have a fantastic race! Pacing is awesome, but it's stressful too and takes a lot of preparation and focus. I love the "work" of pacing a marathon, and while great pacers make it look easy, make no mistake about it! There's a lot that goes into it every single mile (or kilometer). Speaking of kilometers, I love that I could ask runners in my group if they are used to miles or kilometers and to be able to tell them the average pace in either unit of measure. It's part of the mathy side of pacing which, of course, I'm obsessed with! Thank you, @londonmarathon and @pacerakram for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible team!
