We planted nearly 1200 trees this fall on two farms in Orleans County under our Trees for Streams program. Trees for Streams, hosted by the Vermont Conservation Districts, seeks to improve and protect water quality and wildlife habitat by establishing woody vegetation in riparian zones. Enhancing the vegetated riparian areas to help minimize bank erosion, increasing run-off infiltration. Led by our Conservation Specialist @tedsedell and assisted by our partners at the @northwoodsvt Stewardship Center and in partnership with the @vermontlandtrust , we recently planted bareroot trees at the Blodgett Family Farm near Willoughby Falls and the Reindeau Farm along the Willoughby River. Behind the name it is an inside joke with his tournament bass buddies however don’t forget he also targets lake trout, pike, pan fish of course bass and don’t forget the random ones that can also be stumbled upon. 5 years as a business with a Captain with over 40 years on this beautiful lake. Sorry we have been a little quite recently. Captain Bryan is fishing BFL today with our son Jake and they are also both doing the Toyota series that are coming to lake Champlain, then he heads to another tournament returns to lake Champlain for a tournament with a buddy THEN I am sending him back to work 😂 just kidding! He will be doing charters again and I believe I was nice enough to schedule him a double right out of the gate 🤔 for those of you who don’t know us we are a crazy supportive family who roots for our favorite fisherman… right down to the “cheesy” Labelle shirts.
