Nachdem wir das Verzascatal durchquert hatten und in Sonogno ankamen, fuhren wir ca. 13 km talabwärts zum wohl meist fotografierten Motiv des Tals - der Ponte dei Salti. Eine Brücke aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, auch wenn sie im Volksmund "Römerbrücke" genannt wird. Dort nutzen wir die wunderschönen Gumpen um uns im türkisblauen Wasser etwas abzukühlen. . P.S.: Römer gab es hier im 17. First stop in Switzerland was at Verzasca Valley. The first walking bridge we came across was Ponte Pedonale which leads up a hill to a historic Roman village. Die mit Abstand heikelste Stelle der gesamten Via Alta della Verzasca befand sich am Abstieg vom Madom Gröss. Nach dem, was wir die letzten Tage schon erlebt hatten, wussten wir bereits im Vorfeld, dass der Abstieg über die Nordwand kein Zuckerschlecken werden wird. Hier war mit viel Schnee und Eis zu rechnen und auch ohne ist der Abstieg nichts für schwache Nerven. . Auf den Fotos kommt es natürlich nicht so rüber, wie es eigentlich vor Ort war. Außerdem habe ich mein Handy nach dem Einstieg in den Abstieg sicher verstaut und mich vollkommen auf den Abstieg fokussiert.
