Report from last Friday the 4th of August, again I headed over to Heysham for a hound session. Picked up some awesome Ragworm and got to the mark. I fished more or less the same spot as where I had my PB hound a couple of weeks before. Baited up my @limitlessseafishing hooks with ragworm and sent them out, again 15minute timers set, had an early dogfish which fell to squid I got from @mark_t_fishing which I got a 5kg block and is just brilliant squid to use, but the rods remained motionless all night. The beach was very busy with anglers with only 4 fish to my knowledge being caught all tide, and I caught 2 of the four being the dog and a very suprise bass and new PB at 3lb 14oz, this fish made my night and I was returned to fight another day. #smoothhoundfishinguk #ukseafishing #ukseafishing #fishinglife #fishpics #ukbass #seabassuk

What an absolute screamer of a day this was last weekend ❤️🔥 Bassing, Boating, and Bro-ing out with the Jones @londonperchfinder 🙌 With too much silver to the boat to count over the course of a full day exploring a new area for me, it was a truly amazing session 🔥 What I loved the most was the ability to upsticks and move at the slightest indication of bird activity - as soon as we spotted those little white flashes of the gull’s wings flickering on the horizon off we’d go, only to discover another massive school of bass working the baitfish 🤯 Bites would come instantly, with every drift producing multiple fish each for us. We had a very good number of quality Bass, with this one being my largest at a few whiskers short of 60cm 🙌 Perch fishing on steroids I call it, with most of the bigger fish falling to plastics presented hard on the bottom. The difference is that the tap bite on a pause from this fish felt more like a sledgehammer than the thud from a Perch, and the @majorcraft_uk Sea Bass Custom buckled as it would with no stripey - absolutely divine! We’re back on the attack tomorrow with the hope of recreating this success, so wish us luck! 🤞 I hope you’ve all been very well, and that you’ll have a chance to get out over the course of this weekend!
