Pinyon under the stars - Arches National Park is studded with these small pine tres - pinus edulis - which manage to grow in the desert and form beautiful twisted shapes. This one was growing in the Devil’s Garden campground and provided a beautiful foreground for a blazing Milky Way. A month on and I’m still blown away by the clarity of the wonderful desert skies. What a difference a day makes! 24h little hours 🎶 (swipe) . 24h d'écart (à quelques minutes près) entre ces deux images. Le lieu est identique, la composition similaire, mais les deux n'ont absolument rien à voir ! 😅 . 1️⃣ Arche galactique assez classique prise le 10 Mai à 3h11 du matin. Les conditions étaient bonnes pour permettre de beaux reflets dans le lac. . 2️⃣ Le 11 Mai à 3h15, lors des aurores les plus intenses de ces 20 dernières années ! L'arche galactique était presque perdue dans les lueurs de l'ovale aurorale et de la teinte rouge du SAR (Stable Auroral Red). Au passage, merci à @martinlefrancphotographie avec qui j'échangeais pendant la nuit et qui m'a fait penser à shooter de quoi faire un 360° (ou presque). . Dans les deux cas, le ciel dénué de pollution lumineuse était un atout de taille pour un émerveillement maximal! . This observatory was one of the first in Spain, finished in 1969 and sadly abandoned shortly after. Nowadays despite being under a really good sky is not used much for compositions as the Milky Way core isn’t in that direction, but with an astromodified camera you have the awesome constellation of Cygnus above. Since I wanted another photo with it, I checked which celestial object aligns with it and this months besides the Cygnus, Cassiopeia and the Great Rift appear next to the observatory. ✨The Rising Milky Way Center✨ The conditions for astrophotography are particularly good on Tenerife. High up on Mount Teide, the air is clean and free of dust. There is also very little light pollution and the lower-lying clouds block out the rest of the light. This allowed me to take a panorama of the "Rho-Ophiuchi" region in the constellation of Scorpion. It was a wonderful night but the wind was very cold. Anyway, I am very happy with the result, even if I think there is still room for improvement in the post-processing in Pixinsight. I was able to learn a lot again and I'm looking forward to what's to come. I hope you enjoy the picture. The Milky Way above the Grand Paradiso, in the Italian Alps. The photo was planned in order to have the Milky Way in between the two main mountains and, in the foreground, between the two trees. 本日の1枚はこちら。 「星に願いを」 天の川撮影をしていると流れ星がたくさん流れるし、静かで、まるで別世界にいる気持ちになれる。 ただ、今日は先客のおじさんがいて、ラジオを流しながら撮影している。 熊よけかな？ 撮影開始から約30分。 おじさんが話しかけてきて、何のカメラを使ってるだとか、おすすめのレンズを教えてくれた。 ただ、僕はずっと不思議だった。 おじさんのラジオが「野球中継なのだ」 深夜に野球のラジオ放送なんかしてるのかと不思議に思い おじさんに、 「こんな時間に野球してるんですか？」 「いやいやこれは、何十年も昔、嫁さんと一緒にラジオ中継を聴いてた時に録音してたもの」を聞いてるとのこと。 奥様も星景写真が趣味だけど現在は病と闘病中。 おじさんは、奥様に見せる為に撮影しているのだと。そして星空をまた一緒に見るために。 僕は生まれて初めて星に願い事してみました。 奥様が1日でも早く良くなるように願いながら撮影した1枚。 When I am shooting the Milky Way, there are many shooting stars flowing, it is quiet, and I feel like I am in a different world. However, there was a man ahead of me today, and he was shooting with a radio playing. Is it a bear repellent? About 30 minutes into the shoot. The uncle talked to me and told me what camera he was using and recommended lenses. But I have always wondered. His radio was playing a live baseball game. I wondered if he was broadcasting a baseball game on the radio late at night. To the uncle, He said, "Are you playing baseball at this hour?" He said, "No, no, this is what I used to record when I used to listen to the radio broadcast with my wife decades ago. His wife also enjoys taking pictures of starscapes, but she is currently battling an illness. He said he was taking pictures to show his wife. And to see the stars together again. For the first time in my life, I made a wish on a star.
