A great card to pull my first day back. I’ve been stuck for a little while. I have always seen this card as “conquering your inner demons”, but I don’t know if that is a thing that is possible to do. Maybe “confronting” is a better word. Or “learn to live with”, or “do the things in spite of”. Certainly honor them. They have a lot to teach us if we learn how to listen. Reviewing 💭: The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Oracle cards 🐉 by Kim Krans, who is very talented! She has written and illustrated all these cards by herself. She has an extensive background in shamanism and yoga 🧘‍♀️ There are 63 cards in the deck, which are all beautiful and inspiring. The animals she has chosen connect with the elements (🌎🌬️🔥🌊) and what the reader should look for within themselves and how they connect to the animal of the card they selected. The cards are a good size and they’re easy to shuffle with. I use these cards frequently and I feel connected to them. I found these cards online through Instagram and I was very drawn to them. The price for the deck, I would say is fair considering how it is packaged. The box set has a glamorous foil, the shimmer of the box definitely gives it a magical appearance. The packaging itself is quite large. The deck comes in a box within a box because it has to provide room for the book that comes with the deck and of course this book is very detailed. The author talks about her journey and animal spirits and how to read the cards. There are spreads that you can use. My favourite is the 13 card spread, which is the year ahead spread. Overall, I would recommend this deck for someone who would love to connect with spirit animals. The first card I pulled was Be Generous. Since we’ve had that one recently I pulled the second. I’ve loved this concept since I heard about it; letting your inner demons come forward into a calm, caring space and really listening to them. There have been some shake ups in my life, and I usually adjust to changes quickly, but some of my people are struggling. They are letting negativity and their shadows throw tantrums. This is always a tough one. We are our own bullies, most of the time. When I need to find forgiveness for something I’ve done I ask, “Would I be upset with my best friend or child? Could I forgive them for this thing?”. The answer is almost always YES. Trauma is weird, because we don’t talk about the trauma we inflict on ourselves in this way. Giving comes from a place of abundance. If you are having trouble with the idea of generosity, how can you look around your life and find abundance? What can you be grateful for? Practicing gratitude can be truly life-changing. I used to be even more cynical than I am now (shocking really), so I know. How do you see others around you being generous? Sometimes you just have to do the work to get the results. Sometimes the work is unpleasant and you don’t want to.
