ଅସ୍ପୃଶ୍ୟ ଚିତ୍କାର ~ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଉଇଁବା ଆଗରୁ ଓହ୍ଲେଇ ଆସେ ମୁଁ ରାଜ ରାସ୍ତା କୁ... ଅଧା ଚିରା ଫ୍ରକ୍ ରେ ସ୍ତନ ଦି' ଟା ଲୁଚେଇ,, କଣା ଢାଳ ଟି କୁ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼େଇ ଦିଏ, ଅତି ସଙ୍କୋଚ ରେ.. ସବୁ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଅଟ୍ଟହାସ୍ୟ କୁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡେଇ।। କିନ୍ତୁ,, ସାମ୍ନା ରୁ ଦୁଇ ବାହୁ ପ୍ରସାରିତ କରି ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଦାମିକା କୋର୍ଟ ତଳ ର ବାବୁ ଲୋକ, ଷୋହଳ ବର୍ଷ ର ଛାତି ଟା ମୋ' ବୁଝି ପାରେ ଦାମିକା ଚେହେରା ତଳ ର ଦେହ ଭୋକ।। ସବୁ ବୁଝି ଅବୁଝା ହେବାର ଅଭିନୟ କରେ, କ'ଣ କରିବି ଆଜ୍ଞା?? ଏଇ ଅଳପେଇଷା ପେଟ ର ଭୋକ ଟା ହାତ ପତେଇ ବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କରେ ।। ହାତ ଦି' ଟା ପତାଉ ପତାଉ କେହି ଜଣେ ଭିଡ଼ି ନିଏ ନିଛାଟିଆ ବୁଦାମୂଳ କୁ, ଶରୀର ର ଶେଷ ଶକ୍ତି ଲଗେଇ ମୁଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଥାଏ ଏଇ ଡ଼ାହାଳ କୁକୁର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ କବଳ ରୁ ଖସି ଯିବାକୁ ।। ଆଜି କିନ୍ତୁ କୁଷ୍ଠ ରୋଗୀ ବାପା ର ଭାର ଟା ପିଠି କୁ ଓଜନିଆ କରି ଦେଇଛି.. ଶେଷ ରେ ନଇଁ ଯାଇଛି ସ୍ୱାଭିମାନ ର ଦଦରା ବାଡ଼, ଦରଛିନ୍ନ ଇଜ୍ଜତ ଆଜି ହାତ ଟେକିଛି।। ଏବେ ମୋଟା ମୋଟା ସନ୍ ଗ୍ଲାସ୍ ତଳୁ କାହା ଆଖି ଯୋଡ଼ିକ, ଫଟା ଜାମା ରୁ ପିଚିକି ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ଗୋରା ଚମ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଚାଲି ଗଲା ବେଳେ ମୁଁ ସଙ୍କୋଚ କରେ ନାହିଁ, ବରଂ ଆହୁରି ମୁକ୍ତ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରସାରି ଦିଏ ମୋ ବିପନ୍ନ ଅସ୍ତିତ୍ବ କୁ, ନାରୀ ଲୋଭୀ ଙ୍କ ଗହଣ କୁ ଲମ୍ଫ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ।। ଏଇ କସେଇ ମାନେ ତିଳ ତିଳ ଟିକ୍ ଟିକ୍ କରନ୍ତି ମୋ' କ୍ଷୀଣ ତନୁ କୁ ବାସନା ର ଜ୍ଵାଳା ରେ, ଶୋଷି ଯାଆନ୍ତି ମୋ' ଅଭାବୀ ମାଂସ ର ଶେଷ ସ୍ୱେଦ ବୁନ୍ଦା ଯାଏ... ମୋ' ଅସ୍ପୃଶ୍ୟ ଚିତ୍କାର ଦବିଯାଏ ବିଡା ବିଡା ନୋଟ୍ ର ବଣ୍ଡଲ ଭିତରେ।। ରାତି ଅଧ ରେ ଆଖି ଖୋଲି ଯାଏ ବୁଢ଼ା ବାପୁଡ଼ା ର ଖୁଁ ଖୁଁ କାଶ ରେ, ବାପ ଛାତି ସବୁ ବୁଝେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ହତଭଗା ଟା କହି ପାରେନା କିଛି, ଦରଶୁଖିଲା ତା' ରୋଗିଣା ଓଠ ରେ।। କିନ୍ତୁ,, ଆଜି ସକାଳୁ ଆଖି ମଳି ମଳି ଉଠିଲା ବେଳୁକୁ ସାମ୍ନା ଥୁଣ୍ଟା ବରଗଛ ରେ ଦେଖିଲି ମୋ' କୁଷ୍ଠ ରୋଗୀ ବାପୁଡ଼ା ର ଝୁଲନ୍ତା ଦେହ, ସବୁ କିଛି ଲୁଣ୍ଠିତ ହେଇଗଲା ପରେ କିଏ ଶୁଣିବ... ଏଇ ଧର୍ଷିତା ଆତ୍ମା ର ଛାତି ଫଟା କୋହ।। ଦେହ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ସବୁ ଅବଶ ହେଇ ଆସିଲା ପରେ ହାତ ଠାରି ଡାକୁଛି ଏ ଶୁନ୍ୟ ଆକାଶ.... କେତେ ଦିନ ଆଉ ଝୁଣିବେ ତୋ' ଜିଅନ୍ତା ମଢ଼ କୁ, ଚାରିଆଡେ ଅମଣିଷ,, ନର ପିଶାଚ ଗୁଡାଙ୍କ ନିବାସ।। ଭାଙ୍ଗିଦେ' ଶିକୁଳି ଉଡ଼େଇ ଦେ' ତୋ' ଆତ୍ମା କୁ ସ୍ଥାନ ନାହିଁ ତୋ ' ଅସ୍ପୃଶ୍ୟ ଚିତ୍କାର ର ଧରଣୀ ଛାତି ରେ... ମାଂସ ଗୁଡା ତୋର ବିଳାପ କଲେଣି କେତେ ଦିନ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିବୁ ହା' ହତାଶ ର ଜଞ୍ଜିର୍ ଭିତରେ।। ମୁଁ କି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବି ଆକାଶ କୁ ପାରୁ ନାହିଁ ଜାଣି ଆଖି ପତା ଯୋଡ଼ିକ ଭାରି ହେଇ ଆସି ଲାଣି ତଥାପି,, ମୋ' ଦୁଇ ହାତ କୁ ଶକ୍ତ ଭାବେ କିଏ ନେଇ ଚାଲିଛି ଟାଣି.... ~ @sarjaanaa 🌼 PED @sai_sipraa 🍂 #odiasayeri #odiasahitya #odiasayeri #sahitya #poem #odia #litreture #matrubhasa
The play is exactly as it is named, 'absurd.' We humans have a tendency to find meaning in everything. Reading this, I realised that numerous times I was trying to make sense of things that actually don't have any. It was challenging to resist the compulsion of trying to make sense. We are so uncomfortable with disorder as a race, which is surprising, because how much do we even understand what is order? It talks about the confusion of who or what is real or unreal and the helplessness of the limited capacity of man to perceive. Because there's an extent to which things are verifiable. If something isn't empirical, then what recourse do I have apart from believing that what is being said to me is the truth? But is it still the truth? No, it can't be. Because our limitation is - we 'humans' create truth out of perception. This power to perceive can turn absurdity into meaning. Like here, right now, you are reading this review - is my perception, my meaning, my order. There is a story and then there is a story in that story. Not just that, even the storyteller is inside the story. I have seen this format in many Indian Puranic texts like the Kathasaritasagara but never in a contemporary play. Is time real? Or is it absurd? Is there an end or beginning to it? Does it ever stop? Can we measure it? What do I know about time? But I am aware that it exists, and very significantly, it does. Das is a master storyteller. It is a very short and profound book. Of meaning? That's for you to find out. This book is written with wit and smartness. It gets you every time. 5/5!!
