GL Junior Honor Roll Meet. Boss and her TLU teammate Niesha running the 400. Boss with almost NO rest on race #3. Coach had to check her in for the 400m because she was on the track for the 4x100 when they called for it. This meet was very fast. Only 2 heats of each event. Some only 1. You have to understand what it took for her to run 3 races back to back to back…I am so PROUD! She didn’t push back. She trusted her training, focused and pushed through. Coach Bianca Guess was with her every step of the way. After her 2nd race helping her stay hydrated and get right back focused for the 400! THE BOSS DID HER THING! Seasons Best time. Watching his journey is amazing it never just been about football we talk about life… I been through some rough times with him When HS schools said he was 2 small and when everybody gave up on him when he had to sit out cause of medical reasons .. It’s Amazing bout this group of ladies to want something so bad for their coaches to show everybody that Track Life is still here.. The amount of work they put in is unmeasured.. We learned a lot about our entire team during our time @ Nationals . We had a great team showing but we left a few things on the table and we will never let that happen again .. We have some huge team goals for HS season and I know we will accomplish each one .. 💫This week we launched No Outsiders in school. We have been amazed at the children’s attitudes towards their learning and the fantastic discussions they have had. We had a launch assembly to introduce No Outsiders to the children and gave our Wellbeing Champions their special lanyards. They will be helping to help spread the No Outsiders message: “No Outsiders. Everyone is welcome in our school. No one is the same, but everyone is equal”. Miss Virgo and Miss Vickers then taught lessons across the school using the picture books that we use to teach No Outsiders, as part of our PSHE curriculum. The children completed some independent work following their lessons and they produced some absolutely brilliant work! They were respectful and listened to each other’s opinions.
