Ιούνιος: Καλό Μήνα σε όλους! Καλό καλοκαίρι! June: Have a nice month! Ο Ιούνιος πήρε το όνομά του από την σύζυγο του Δία την Ήρα, η οποία στα λατινικά ονομάζονταν Juno. Σε διαφορετικές περιοχές της Ελλάδος ο Ιούνιος έχει την δική του ξεχωριστή ονομασία. Στα Γρεβενά αναφέρεται ως Κερασάρης. Στον Πόντο, Κερασινός επειδή ωριμάζουν τα κεράσια. Ακόμη, λόγω του «ορνιασμού» των σύκων ονομάζεται Ορνιαστής στην Άνδρο, Ρινιστής στην Πάρο και Απαρνιαστής σε διάφορα άλλα μέρη. Είναι όμως κυρίως γνωστός ως Θεριστής: «αρχές του Θεριστή, του δρεπανιού μας η γιορτή». Για αυτό, συνδέεται άμεσα με την ωρίμανση και τον θερισμό των δημητριακών. Το Θερινό Ηλιοστάσιο Στις 21-22 Ιουνίου ο Ήλιος φτάνει στο βορειότερο σημείο της εκλειπτικής. Αρχίζει δηλαδή να κατέρχεται και πάλι «τρεπόμενος» προς τον ουράνιο ισημερινό. Το σημείο αυτό, ονομάζεται θερινό τροπικό σημείο ή απλά θερινή τροπή. Επειδή ο Ήλιος τρέπεται και πάλι προς τον ισημερινό, και από την ημέρα αυτή αρχίζει το Καλοκαίρι. In addition, children are exposed to a variety of listening material, thus getting used to the proper pronunciation, accentuation, and the rhythm of the new language, learning at the same time various structures and expressions of the language. The types of songs included in the CD are mostly newly created songs both in terms of music and lyrics, with some folk songs – slightly altered – and traditional songs in their original form. Each song, depending on its content, has its own style in order to avoid repetition and monotony.
