9 Arrangement problems we all face as music producers 🎹🚀 Part 2 - Repetitive Arrangements - A Solution ❤️ As promised from yesterday’s post here’s a solution for you to implement in your own workflow and get you finishing your music 🎧 First…Take a break. Yes you can actually do that. Go downstairs and do something round the house or go for a walk (This is my favourite one) and when doing this listen to that reference track we had for structure and write down using a pen and paper or on your phone what you think the artist was doing to keep the idea interesting. 👀 Does he have layers being introduced every 8/16 bars if so what are the layers there for? What effects are being used? is there variation in the notes? are some of the accompanying sounds changing? (Things like percussion, stabs etc) ❤️ You see what you will find is a lot of the sounds are different and evolving over time, subtle changes to the timbre, filters opening and closing and modulation on sounds is another one. 🔊 As always this takes time to train your ears and the important part here is just to write down what you think is happening. Then go back in the seat with your notes, set a timer for 20 minutes and create what you have written down.🚀 Top Tip: Practice makes perfect as always so why not create a separate project outside of your finishing track time where you work on variations? 🎹 create 16–32 bars of content and go to town on automation with effects or experimenting with layers in different octaves for example. Pick a time in your schedule say 1 day a week(if more then great) same again set a timer for 20 minutes and just have fun with it.🤖 No pressure No drama’s. And though none of them could ever answer what Batman: The Animated Series was in the 90s, a new series could actually give the classic series a run for its money. According DeadlinePrime Video's Batman: Caped Crusader is set to premiere on the streaming network on August 1st. Judging from the first photos provided, the animation style looks like it will resemble that of the classic 1990s TV series. A Warner Bros. production. Animation, Bad Robot Productions and 6th & Idaho, Batman: Caped Crusader was scheduled to air on HBO Max before it was canceled due to budget concerns. Now that it's on Prime Video, fans will be able to see what JJ Abrams and company have in store. The series is said to be set in the 1940s as Batman was introduced to the world in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Hella smart. The next day, a Spanish investigator temporarily closed the investigation, citing a lack of charges by prosecutors or the regional government of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. "There is no evidence to prove that Shakira Isabel MR has knowingly and voluntarily omitted information and documents of tax importance," the court said. If prosecutors do not appeal the decision within a week, then it will be final.Both cases are being handled by the Spanish court because Shakira was living in the country at the time. She currently resides in Miami, Florida, having fled Spain following her infamous split with footballer Gerard Piqué, who is the subject of her single 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” with Bizarrap.Later this year, Shakira will embark on a North American tour in support of her new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. The New York Post reports that Buscemi was strolling through the neighborhood of Kips Bay around noon local time on Wednesday, May 8th, when he was struck by an unknown individual. The 66-year-old actor suffered swelling to his face and left eye and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. “Steve Buscemi was assaulted in Mid-Town Manhattan, another victim of a random act of violence in the city,” the actor’s publicist told the New York Post in a statement. “He is ok and appreciates everyone’s well wishes, though incredibly sad for everyone that this has happened to while also walking the streets of New York.” Buscemi’s attacker remains at large. He is described by police as a bearded man wearing a baseball cap, a blue t-shirt and black sweatpants. He was very ill, but still beautifully present in his heart and spirit. His music is timeless and eternal.
