L'une de mes plus grandes réussites avec l'accomplissement de mon record mondial en super marathon 3h (2022) et l'acquisition de mon premier titre honorifique MSWC en @i.k.m.f lors du mondial partie 2 en Hongrie en 2023 (-75kg PDC) Je n'étais pas serein avec une blessure survenue à l'épaule droite à 10 jours du départ et un genou gauche pas au top de sa forme. Je ne pensais pas l'avoir. Au final, c'est une superbe surprise et c'est mon 2ème titre acquis après l'obtention du Master Sport World Class en pentathlon "simple" (une kettlebell) À mon sens, le titre honorifique a une valeur importante. C'est vraiment en fonction des rangs (rang national, Candidat Master Of Sport, Master Of Sport & Master of Sport World Class) que l'on reconnaît la plus value d'un athlète dans cette discipline. C'est une récompense personnelle hors norme. Être en possession de deux titres honorifiques MSWC est inestimable et j'en suis vraiment heureux. Je comprends pourquoi je travaille dur depuis un peu plus de 6 ans. Ma saison internationale s'arrête ici. Il n'y aura pas de deuxième partie pour moi en Belgique cette année. Les raisons principales ? Je vais me soigner et je cherche à me développer sur le plan professionnel. En tant que co-organisateur des mondiaux IKMF (Part. 2), je me concentrerai sur cette tâche là. Organiser, coacher, manager et compétiter était de trop pour moi en 2022.
