Who are we? Followed us for awhile but still not sure who we are or what we do? Hereās a little more about usā¬ļø Ebor Studio is a group studio and gallery in the Lancashire Pennine village of Littleborough in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. We have a membership of 26 local professional artists and designers who we support with opportunities, resources and facilities. Alongside supporting local artists, we host events that give the public access to our work with exhibitions, workshops, talks and more. This has been our first year providing a fully funded program, allowing us to deliver six exhibitions, billboards from local artists, events for families, art & music lovers with tailored sessions for LGBTQIA+ and disabled creatives. āØ Meet the Collective āØ Hey green folks! I am Kimberly, the founder of @transcendingrootsapothecary and also one of the founding members of @sacredpathcollective! My journey into plant medicine began before I even knew it had, growing up in Maryland with family practices Iād later find out were deep traditions in Appalachian folk medicine & magic. Blood stoppers, wart talkers, fire blowers & faith healers, are terms for things I experienced in my childhood that I had no name for & thought were just āwhat we didā. I grew up with a deep curiosity & love of magic and nature. I was guided into plant medicine in my teens & have been on the green path since, a devotee to mama earth & her medicines for over 20 years now. What began as a personal healing journey & hobby, quickly turned into a devotional life of service to the earth & my communities as I walked further down this road. How many times has the earth saved YOU? Iāve lost count. I hold a bachelors in complimentary & alternative medicine, & have studied clinical & folk herbal medicine. My passion, background, & search in study of herbalism is never ending & is rooted in magic and healing traditions in my colorful ancestral heritage of Appalachia, Central American, Cuban & Celtic decent, as well as learning from the great systems of ancient medicine around the world. I worked in veterinary medicine for over a decade, & have a special focus of my practice helping our companion animals with holistic alternatives. Simone is a Registered Counsellor, Nutritionist, and Health and Wellbeing Coach. She partners with adults, children and adolescents. Simone began her career as a Management Consultant before undertaking professional qualifications in the health sector. Simoneās interests include coaching, working with people with stress, mood, and behavioural disorders, as well as treating post-traumatic stress disorder. Simone works with children with attachment and/or behavioural challenges. She also has a special interest in partnering with NDIS clients. Simone has been VERY popular already.
