Happy Easter everyone!🐰🐣 I decided to make the coqui flower charm into a necklace as well. 🐸🌺 I wanted the necklace to hang slightly under the collar bone but added an 1 inch extension chain in case someone wants it to hang lower. I had a hard time adding the jumprings to the chain because the holes are so tiny but I eventually got the hang of it. 😂😳 In the third picture I added the earrings to the picture. They are sold separately but would make a great gift set for Mothers day. A espécie 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢 DC. foi reconhecida como flor nacional de Puerto Rico oficialmente em 2019, mas sempre foi uma planta representativa para os porto-riquenhos. Tanto que existe o “dia da flor símbolo”, comemorado na primeira segunda-feira do mês de outubro. A planta é conhecida popularmente como maga, flor de maga, maga colorida, e pela sua semelhança com o hibisco é chamada de hibisco puertorriqueño. É uma espécie nativa de Puerto Rico e introduzida na República Dominicana, Cuba, Estados Unidos (Flórida), Hawaii e Venezuela, onde é cultivada principalmente como planta ornamental. Além do seu potencial ornamental, sua madeira é pesada, dura e resistente ao ataque de insetos, e tem sido utilizada na marcenaria para construção de móveis, instrumentos musicais e postes. É uma árvore de até 15m de altura, com folhas de base cordada (formato de coração) e margem inteira. Sua característica mais chamativa são suas flores grandes (com pétalas de até 11cm de comprimento), vermelhas e pendentes. As flores produzem néctar e são polinizadas por aves e abelhas. Seus frutos são consumidos por morcegos frugívoros e pássaros que atuam como dispersores. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢 pertence à família Malvaceae, e está posicionada na tribo do algodoeiro.
