I updated the Minilander of the sleeping guy model out in the park. We’ve had one in Miniland since we opened that matches a different version of the model from another park, which just recently broke. Instead of fixing the old, inaccurate one, I decided to make a new and improved one to look more like our own sleeping guy. Fun fact: he moves around the park once a year to find a new spot to nap. We took our son to @legoland.newyork for his 8th birthday and it was SO much fun! We happened to have gone on the day of the 4.7 magnitude earthquake, so rides were delayed by about 1.5 hours. Luckily Legoland has so many options other than rides to keep kids busy. This store behind us was our first stop. It’s a giant store with so many cool items. We chose to hold off on buying anything until we were on our way out, so we didn’t have to carry anything.
