MIRROR | Soufflé by @lamanufacture_paris - With a playful design and an inflated appearance, Soufflé mirror borrows the French expression for ‘blown’ to name itself, emphasising its more evident and distinctive feature. A frame by the puffy and light appearance of a balloon hides inside a fiberglass structure and contains the arch-shaped surface of the full-length mirror. The tubular fixture, while guaranteeing a variable support point, both on the wall and on the ground, it allows the mirror to assume the ideal position, to adapt accordingly to the environment. Situé au centre de la toile de fond chaotique de l'état actuel avec des manifestations à Paris. Caché dans le 9ème arrondissement se trouve @lamanufacture_paris qui abritait la sublime artiste contemporaine basée aux Pays-Bas @corine_v_voorbergen qui a présenté son exposition personnelle organisée par @joannakhalaf_art Une soirée de son savoir-faire artistique alors qu'elle se délecte du processus de création de son travail en duo avec son mari, qui dirige en équipe son atelier. Certaines des pièces des vitrines provenaient d'installations précédentes qu'elle a créées. Parmi eux, certains de nos préférés incluent la palette Mono (diapositive 5). Avec la "Mono Palette", van Voorbergen raconte l'histoire de son rituel de sélection. Elle a sélectionné chaque couleur pour cette pièce d'installation de sa collection de pastels qu'elle a constituée au fil des ans, et les a traduites dans son médium artistique actuel. Chaque couleur a une profondeur et un dégradé, faisant ressortir la plénitude de chaque couleur, rehaussée par l'utilisation caractéristique de van Voorbergen d'anneaux en laiton faits à la main. Nous sommes également fascinés par sa collaboration dynamique avec le sculpteur @esmaywagemans qui a été une figure de proue dans le travail avec des stars de la liste A telles que Cardi B et la sensationnelle Solange Knowles. Il y a peu de choses qui manquent à l'ultime "événement parfait" et cette ouverture en était une.
