A nifty thing happed this afternoon at @londonbrewingca ‘s Oktoberfest event: The tapping of a cask! There is nothing more unique of an experience at a brewery than to tap a cask. This one had a sweet, barnyardy nose, a semi-dry malt, finished by a smash of juicy chinook hops. @thebrisketman.bbq was there as a pop-up for the event, so I enjoyed a smoked sausage with this amazing cask ale, and brought home some pulled pork and brisket for the girls.
