Another item for my craft drop this weekend when I’ll be joining the #folksycraftdrop . I used to scrapbook a lot but have got out of the habit, I really need to get back to it as photos can be so much more than a quick swipe on a phone. I was playing about with a die set from Just Lou from Studiolight and made this little scrapbook, memory book, journal, brag book- whatever you want to use it for. Its made to cutest little book hand tied with ribbon and I used S.E.I Aunt Gert’s garden papers. They are very retro and would be fabulous with some 60’s or 70’s photos and they’d be about the right size. I didn't know what she meant at the time, but having been in the game a little while now I think I get it! I am my own marketer, sales person, accountant and delivery driver. I order the materials and cost out my pieces. I have a lot of spreadsheets, and I've learnt a lot about Excel! Some of this might sound a little dry, but I love that it's so wonderfully varied. I get to hone my pottery skills but also learn so much more - last week I was trying to make my branding a little more consistent across my platforms. It took a lot longer than I'd thought it would, but that's ok. I was learning how to use Ibis Paint, Canva and Google Photos to refine a look I was happy with. Which would then be used for Instagram, Facebook and now Pinterest. I was also working on my @Folksy.com shop. I get to hone my pottery skills but also learn so much more - last week I was trying to make my branding a little more consistent across my platforms. It took a lot longer than I'd thought it would, but that's ok. I was learning how to use Ibis Paint, Canva and Google Photos to refine a look I was happy with. Which would then be used for Instagram, Facebook and now Pinterest. I was also working on my @Folksy.com shop.
