After two weeks in sunny San Diego, I finally made it home at 11:30pm last night. 😵💫 This morning Aaron & I woke up early & headed to the Tim O'Tee Open. I'm not gonna lie, it was a little rough getting going, but after some coffee & breakfast I started to wake up. ☕ . To say the wind was insane today would be an understatement. Today the rain came in & it didn't stop. In fact, it got so bad (thunder & lightning) that the Rattling Chains tourney was called after I finished 11 holes. While the rain definitely made it difficult to play, it wasn't impossible. . These pics were taken during the second round when we were playing from the longs. I threw the same disc as round 1 (from the shorts) with the EXACT same result of a BIRDIE! 💪🏻🥏 Yes, I screamed both times. 😂 Of course, from the shorts I actually hit the basket. 😳 . What a day! 30 minute version of the @simon_lizotte challenge! I used the exact same method as the original challenge but only gave myself half the time. If you haven't already given it a try, it's a great way to practice in a different format. . For those that haven't heard of it, you start at ten feet and throw at the basket. When you make a shot you move your marker back ten feet and repeat until the timer runs out to see how far you get. . I made it farther than expected, reaching 90ft (Instagrams max video length cuts it off), and came so close to reaching the 100 foot mark. With another half hour I should have easily been in the 100ft+ range.
