Well, I guess it’s time to announce that I have officially said goodbye to my Rolfe and now officially own @ssnowh1 ‘s Beach Bear! For those who don’t know, this was the Beach Bear that performed at Scandia Golf & Games. A lot of you may be wondering why I decided to do this, so let me explain: Back in mid 2023 when I first started going looking for an animatronic, I was looking for any Rock-afire bot I could find. My favorite is Beach Bear, so that’s who I was aiming for, but would settle for whoever I could find. I came across Jack’s post where he was selling a Rolfe & Earl, and realized this was my opportunity to get one. As a singular bot I thought he would be a good option since they were a solo act together. Originally, I had planned to try and find a public venue for him, as unrealistic as it sounded. As the months went on, however, I found that to not be possible for me, not to mention the addition of Dook/Pasqually made me realize the perfect duo for my animatronic setup would be Beach Bear (who I wanted from the start) and Dook/Pasqually, so after thinking it over I decided to go look for someone to either buy Rolfe or trade him for Beach Bear. Eventually I found out that @ssnowh1 was wanting to trade his Beach Bear for a character he wanted more, so we talked it over and worked out a deal. In exchange for Rolfe (with all of his cosmetics minus the proper black shirt and bowtie), he would give me Beach Bear as well as the money to get the rest of the cosmetics, and so the deal has happened. I want to give a huge thanks to @ssnowh1 for coming all the way down here to do the trade and helping unload Beach Bear, it was very nice to meet you and I’m very happy we managed to make a deal. While I know a lot of you are going to miss Rolfe & Earl, rest assured he is in great hands, with someone who is going to enjoy him even more than I did. As for Beach Bear, the current goal is to get the pallet set up for him and the bolt him down.
