Cette fois je suis assez satisfaite du décor que j'ai ajouté, ça ajoute vraiment quelque chose au dessin de situer la scène, l'action. La prochaine marge d'évolution serait d'y ajouter un éclairage car là ça manque encore de contraste (ombres, etc...). Vu qu'il y a quasi 8 ans d'écart entre chaque dessins peut être que d'ici 2030 j'y arriverai 😅. This is nothing but a redraw and it’s just one of the many drawings I’m trying to finish…when I first made it in 2022 it was extra criticised but I decided to see if I improved and well…aside from the fact that the first one was made on a graphic tablet and that I drew the latest one on mah iPad buddy, I can tell I sometimes still see my digital art as a huge amount of wobbly lines and uneven colouring — that’s why I am still struggling with finding a decent colouring style. Well I hope I’ll someday be able to outdo myself for once and see if I can use procreate properly, by learning and by using all it has to offer properly. . Yes I did change some things on this drawing, if we compare it to the previous one: aside from the fact that the oldest one is set in 1975 and the newest in 1977, which can be seen as a fast forward in time, I decided to switch some stuff indeed. Just bc. . Hope you’ll appreciate it. Unfortunately the Queen fandom has brought me to exhaustion even tho I still love these boys a lot. I’ll forever love them. But some people (especially in my compatriot side of the fandom) really need to grow up. Idk where did they get that audacity but they surely need to put it back — considering they reached a certain age and they had all the time of their life to become decent people, but instead consciously decided to be the opposite (and decided to attack others by body shaming them and bullying them either publicly or behind their back, while using a screen as a shelter). My digital redo version of the old traditional one. I used the base of the traditional one when creating this new, digital one. When I started to draw the new version, I also wanted to test a different style from my usual one starting from lineart. The lineart is done with several different digital ink brushes and with coloring I used digital watercolor brushes. (While the aftermath doesn't exactly look like watercolor's, it still resembles it somewhat.) All in all, it was very fun to experiment with different brushes that I wouldn't normally use or just an only a little bit. (I had to hold myself back when I wanted to 'correct' the aftermath of some brushes...) With the redo version, I fixed the lightning/shadow problems, decided to stick with green colored eyes with Mito (that look very good on her!), and tried to bring more texture to her. ✨Do not use these images without my permission, thank you. I’ve wanted to do one of these for ages and never got round to it! It’s been 10 years between these two and the funny thing is, I was so proud of the first one at the time! I thought I’d never be able to do a better drawing - kinda embarrassing now. It’s important to see these because it shows people how much time and practice goes into being an artist. So many people tell me that they could never do art, and make it out to be this mysterious gift I’ve been given - it’s really not, it’s a skill and like any skill it can be learned.
